My honest experience as a CSE student at LPU.
Placements: In LPU, you will get around an 80 percent placement rate overall for the 2026 passing batch. Top recruiting companies are Google, Amazon, Accenture, BNY, Morgan Stanley, Cognizant, CompTIA, and Cisco. The campus average is around 6.5 LPA- 7 LPA, the highest on campus goes around 55 LPA-65 LPA every year. The top 10 percent of students in CSE has average package of 14.5 LPA-15 LPA. Earlier most of the companies come for full-stack developer roles, but in the past 1 year, AI-ML roles as well as this role are also coming.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and the facilities are good here. The room size and the mess food change according to the hostel. Wi-Fi speed is good most of the time, but sometimes the speed decreases drastically. The hostel facilities are wonderful, like a gym, shop, late-night canteen, freedom for boys all night on campus except around girls' hostels.
Faculty: Most faculty in the department are well-qualified with PhD backgrounds. LPU highlights this a lot a mixed bag some excellent, some just reading slides. Teaching quality is engaging with practical examples and good for theory but less hands-on. Some professors are especially helpful with doubt-clearing sessions and mentorship guidance. The class sizes are large, so individual attention is limited. Faculty are responsive outside class hours too. During the placement, mock drives are also scheduled.
Other: I chose the CSE branch because of my interest in programming and web development, strong career prospects in tech, family/senior recommendation. LPU's placement record by some of my homies, and most importantly, scholarship via LPU NEST. LPU's CSE programme specifically appealed to me because of industry tie-ups, exposure to AI/ML and cloud electives, and the size of the tech recruiter pool during placements. Others are some special batches of different companies. Tech fests and hackathons alongside the university-wide One World and One India cultural fest. CSE students often get involved in coding competitions, hackathons, and tech society events.

Absolutely satisfied with university, placements are good, and the infrastructure is good.
Placements: The placements are not too bad. The college says that approximately all students with an 8+ CGPA get placed, except 10–20 students. The percentage of students placed at Lovely Professional University is around 80–85%. The highest package on campus is by Microsoft, which is 51.02 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA. The average package is around 5–6 LPA. Top companies like TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, and Accenture recruit the most students. Around 15–20% of students get internships in companies like LG Soft, High Radius, Josh Technology Group, and High Radius. The roles offered are SDE, FDE, IT Engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of university is very good. Classrooms are clean and have Wi-Fi. The computer labs are good. The library is huge, and entry to the library is through facial authentication. There are 8–10 hostels for boys and 6–8 hostels for girls. Each hostel has a separate mess, departmental store, and salon. There is a big hospital called University Hospital on the campus. University also provides separate coaching for sports and games, which charges Rs. 5,000 yearly.
Faculty: Few teachers are highly qualified (cleared GATE and UGC NET), helpful, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is average. The curriculum is good for the present AI transformation. Students get industry mentor classes for placement preparation. The semester exams are not that difficult. Studying consistently is good for maintaining an 8+ CGPA.
Other: I chose this course because I like technology-related stuff. The course teaches how AI changes everyday things. In this course, we have to maintain attendance, which I would like to improve. A bunch of events happen every week on campus, including hackathons, workshops, competitive events, etc.

Don't judge a book by its cover.
Placements: When I talked to my teachers and seniors, I realized my course is very good and also has a good placement percentage. Around 70–80% of my course. I don't know the exact highest package from my course, but as far as I know, some students got placed with the highest package of around 7–8 LPA. When I talk about overall placements, the highest package is 2.5 Cr from a B.Tech student. We get companies like Biocon, Nestlé, Panacea Biotec, etc. For internships, almost 95% of students get opportunities because it is easy and there is high demand from the college.
Infrastructure: My classroom is very good. Our hostel is average, but new hostels are being built on our campus, and they are really good, like hotels. Overall, the infrastructure is very good and has an aesthetic feel that is more like Gen Z. I am satisfied with the infrastructure.
Faculty: My faculty is very good, but some young teachers are less experienced in teaching, so they are not as effective. I am satisfied with my faculty because they have good teaching methods and friendly behaviour. The curriculum is also good, and we have a tight exam schedule because we have many CAs, midterms, and end-term examinations, so we stay busy managing them. The course design is also good, with proper class management. We also have Edu Revolution to help us get better marks and study along with the curriculum activities.
Other: In the beginning, I felt that I had made the wrong decision by taking admission to this college. But later I realized that choosing this college for B.Sc. Hons. Biotechnology was one of the best decisions of my life. I chose this course because I have an interest in research areas. I got the best college with the best campus life.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the management and placements, you can go for better instead of this.
Placements: There is a placement in LPU, but the university gets only low-grade jobs and companies. For placements, there are also good companies, but the highest package I think is 80 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. Also, Amazon has banned LPU because the students were cheating in their placement exam. There are more similar companies that I don't know about. The top recruiting company is Morgan Stanley, I think.
Infrastructure: There are all the facilities needed for the courses that they are teaching in the university, but you should have your own laptop from the very first semester. Also, one thing about their management is that it is worse. Infrastructure is top-notch, but they don't maintain it as they should.
Faculty: Faculty members are all capable of teaching better, but I think they step back, but this could be because of students. Otherwise, they are pretty knowledgeable. Our university conducts a lot of exams for no reasons I think this many exams are unnecessary. It puts lots of pressure on students they don't have time to enjoy.

Lovely Professional University is transforming education.
Placements: Almost 70% of our batch got placed through campus placements. Among them, the highest package is 2.5 crore. All MNCs and Big Four companies came for recruitment. Around 80% of students got internships. Hiring opportunities are available for students from different backgrounds according to their interests and the field they choose.
Infrastructure: The college provides world-class facilities with a 5-floor library, innovative technology, and new ideas. Food and accommodation facilities are very good. The campus is drug-free. Security guards are available everywhere for protection. The college provides decent hostels and food stalls.
Faculty: All exams help students prepare for company requirements. They are easy if students focus on tutorials. The passing percentage is 40% per subject. Internal marks and attendance marks are also included. Regularly attending classes helps students become industry-ready and improve their skills. Faculty is highly qualified and dedicated
Other: There are many events and fests organized regularly. Many celebrities and entrepreneurs are invited to student events and coaching sessions.

Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) - Batch of 2027

Architecture is basic here.
Placements: Currently, 50% of students have registered for placements. Talking about the packages, they start from 1.8 LPA as the basic package and go up to 4.8 LPA as the average package. Autodesk, WSP, Creative Group LLP, and others are among the top recruiting firms. There is one semester of mandatory internship for every student. The top roles offered include BIM Coordinator, Project Manager, and more.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in the department is quite good, but not excellent. Wi-Fi is good, but the studios are a bit messy, and something does not feel right about them. There is no proper working environment. The atmosphere can feel boring. There is a lack of work culture. In other architecture colleges, studios are open 24/7 and designed to have working environment, but this is not the case at LPU.
Faculty: Most teachers are young and have less than 5 years of field experience. Theoretically, they are good, but when asked about practical aspects, some of them lack practical knowledge. It cannot be said that the course makes students fully industry-ready, as architecture has many aspects and everyone has a different perspective. The semester exams are average, and all questions are based on the syllabus.
Other: Studio culture can be improved. They are providing scholarships, which are easy to get.
