Honest review of my college.
Placements: The placements are quite okay. Unlike other colleges, in the past, various companies like Google, some BPOs, and many companies came from time to time to recruit students. This puts the college at a high rank, and as a result, the college recruits only qualified students. I could quote quite a number of students who got a job before completing their courses. But I still feel that this could be better so that more students have a future through this institute.
Infrastructure: Hostels are great. It is situated near the college. There are two buildings with separate boys and girls. Some rooms are shared, and some single rooms are also available here. Mess food is also great. It costs a total of around Rs. 8000 per month. PG's are also available around the college, which cost around Rs. 4000 per month.
Faculty: It's a very worthy course, Natural Gases of the Earth. The faculty is great, and they teach us nicely and help us to overcome our doubts. Various practices were done that help us with our further research. I enjoyed a lot. The subject combination of Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English as electives is perfect. We had two to three exams a year, and questions were set from every nook and corner of the syllabus. One needs to prepare thoroughly for the exams, and we need at least 75 percent attendance.

My honest review of St. Anthony's College, Shillong.
Placements: Nothing comes directly from the college. Everything depends on the student to manage on their own. In a way, this is good, as it helps students prepare themselves for job searches later and equips them with knowledge on how to proceed. Big companies like Amazon, InfoEdge, Paytm, etc., visited the campus with great packages, with the highest being 15 LPA this year. Most of the job descriptions were for the role of SDE, which included FTE plus an internship.
Infrastructure: Postgraduate students were given single rooms. They were no other options, for a monthly rental of nearly Rs. 2000. Two-seater rooms were Rs. 1500, three-seater rooms Rs. 1000, and dorms Rs. 500. Food costs were nearly Rs. 50 per day.
Faculty: The curriculum was somewhat outdated, as the field of Information Technology. It requires us to stay updated with the latest languages and technologies, but the syllabus was outdated and needed to be revised quickly. It should also be mentioned that postgraduate students did not get any on-campus placements. Almost all teachers were NET-qualified and specialized in the subjects they taught. The staff was very friendly and young, so interaction with them was very good. Whenever there was a problem, we could approach them personally. The curriculum was good, starting with easy concepts to familiarize students with all the subjects. The teaching methods were also good, as teachers did not assume that students were already proficient. All the positive reviews from other students made me choose this college for MCA.

North Eastern Hill University Review
Placements: Percentage of students placed was not that high, but as placements were conducted through CUET, so yes. No package since the university doesn’t provide them. No companies come because there are hardly any placement opportunities. Companies coming to the college is a once in a blue moon thing. Internships are done personally by the students, as in the law department. No roles as such, it is overrated.
Infrastructure: Buildings are of old architecture and no modern amenities are available. The buildings are weak and seepage is bad. Toilets are not up to the mark with no water most of the time. Classrooms are not in good condition. On rainy days, we suffer leakage from the terrace. Hostel experience is below average with the same problems. Food quality is bad, but the rooms are big enough.
Faculty: Faculty members are not that good; most of them don’t take classes. The research scholars take our classes. They are very lenient, with favouritism and discrimination. But overall, the behaviour is good. Yes, the core curriculum is relevant. The semester exams are easy to medium and sometimes tough, but marks are not given adequately.

My honest review of St. Anthony's College, Shillong.
Placements: Nothing comes directly from the college. Everything depends on the student to manage on their own. In a way, this is good, as it helps students prepare themselves for job searches later and equips them with knowledge on how to proceed. Many of our alumni have made it to Adobe, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. Most students from here are now working with big names in the IT industry. So we can say that once you get admission here, your future is more or less set.
50 per day.
Faculty: The curriculum was somewhat outdated. In the field of information technology, we need to stay updated with the latest languages and technologies, but the syllabus was outdated and needed improvement. Postgraduate students did not get any on-campus placements. Almost all teachers were NET-qualified and specialized in the subjects they taught. The staff was very friendly and young, making interaction easy. Whenever there was a problem, we could approach them. It was the toughest course I ever attended or heard of. Every mark earned in three years was hard-earned. There was a lot to learn. Professors set very high benchmarks for students. Industry-level assignments were part of the curriculum. Professors did not allow students to cheat or copy internet-available assignments.

Very good atmosphere at college.
Placements: The students can become eligible for campus placements from the third semester. The companies visited here are Times of India, BNY Mellon, Swiggy, ABFRL. The highest package offered by the companies is 10 LPA and the minimum is 5 LPA. Profiles offered are Management Trainee, HR Executive, Campus Ambassador. The percentage of students getting placement is 90%. My plan is to get a job as a Business Analyst at the associate level in the Big 4 consulting firms.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi. Rooms are average in condition with one balcony. The rooms are shared with 3 students per room. Meal quality is average sometimes good, sometimes bad. Registration process for hostel is easy, you will know when you visit the campus. Hostel fee: INR 5000 per year.
Faculty: The curriculum that I chose offers a wide range of opportunities, allowing me to channel my interest and my career goals, which helps me choose the specific domain, the curriculum I chose requires technical and presentation skills that provide students with direct exposure to the workplace environment.

Satisfied with the faculty members.
Placements: The percentage of the students who were placed in our course was 55%. The average package was 8.5 lacs and the highest package was 13 lacs and the lowest package was 4 lacs. Top recruiting companies were TCS, Capgemini, and Wipro. Many students also got internships.
Infrastructure: Washrooms are very hygienic and dirty. Security arrangements are very bad and anyone can enter the campus. Classrooms and labs are average. Limited resources in the library. The quality of food available in the canteen is acceptable.
Faculty: Teachers are very cooperative and helpful towards the students. They are very helpful and use different types of methods of teaching. Sometimes they always sold students for disrespect and bad behavior. Our course is curriculum relevant and it makes the students industry ready.
