Great crowd, fests & college week.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was decent and well-maintained. The canteen was the best part, with three canteens offering affordable prices and a stationery shop inside the campus. There were girls’ and boys’ hostels within a few kilometers. We also had the NE Archive section in the Mass Media department. The campus had a library and auditorium. It had studios, cameras, and other equipment required for practical classes. However, we could not fully utilise the resources from the second year onwards due to ...

My honest review of my college.

Infrastructure: The hostel rooms are quite big. They are either single, 2, 3, or 4 sharing rooms. Mess is not that much of a high quality, but the food is good. Students got admitted to the hostel based on their percentage. Some students did not get a seat.

The college is full of diversity with people coming from different states.

Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are the best. It has a mini football ground, a badminton court, a gym, and a volleyball and basketball court. It also has a table tennis room, foosball, snooker, and carrom board. The hostel seats are limited to around 200+ students. Regarding the mess, it’s not that good to be frank.

Computer labs are very highly expensive.

Infrastructure: Triple-sharing rooms with and without AC are available, 12 rooms per floor, providing a study table, an almirah, and all the basic things. Laundry is available and gives clothes after 3 days, house cleaning service has been topped for inside the room, no cleaning in the room until further notice, which is not good at all. Multiple complaints have been made to the concerned authorities, but still, it's been over a month now, and there's been no improvement at all.

All the faculty members are experts in their fields and motivate students.

Infrastructure: In hostel, there is one flat where six students live. One flat has three rooms. Each room has 2 students, they provide one table, one chair, and one almirah. There is a common late batch among six students. There is a separate hostel for juniors. Meal is excluded from hostel, we have to pay for a meal every day. Accommodation charges for hostel are Rs. 65,000 per year.

It's very affordable even for students who are financially weak.

Infrastructure: Hostel was cheaper than any other colleges, and it had a separate hostel for boys and girls. But the hostel was not too good, it was normal, and it provided normal facilities. Canteen was good. It provided better meals, like homemade food according to routine or a menu. You had to register for the hostel in advance, and then they would allocate the hostel and room. Hostel fee was Rs. 12,000 and Rs. 18,000 for the mess. If you wanted better facilities, then you would choose PG.

Management, I love the way the college manages certain things.

Infrastructure: There exist certain social welfare clubs such as NCC, NSS, Anthony Youth Club, and many more. These clubs do not stand just for the betterment of the college itself, however, it has impacted the whole town of Shillong. Centers such as hospitals, orphanages, etc. They are being provided with necessities such as food, clothing, and many more. Moreover, things such as blood donation are being done.

The faculty is nice, and the teaching staff is supportive and well trained.

Infrastructure: There were many clubs in the college that we could join and participate in. The clubs host different programs, activities, events, and competitions frequently. There were also NCCs and NSSs, which the students can join for their personal growth and to serve the nation and society. There was also a college week every year in which all the clubs came together to host a big week.
