Admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The accepted entrance exams are CMAT, CAT, ACPC Admission, CUET-PG, and others. Candidates willing to get admission must take part in the NEHU Shillong admission process before the last date of application.

NEHU Shillong offers BTech in various specialisations for 4 years. Admission to the respective course is offered on the basis of Class 12 aggregate and valid scores in JEE Main. No, candidates are not allowed to get direct admission to MBA courses at  NEHU Shillong. To get admission to MBA courses applicants are required to qualify their graduation first in a relevant field with at least an aggregate of 50%.
