    I am absolutely dissatisfied with placements of our college.
    Placements: Placements of Uttarakhand Open University are below average. I completed my M.A in mass communication and journalism in 2019 from this college. Only a few students got placed with average salary packages. Our college offers some summer internships to students, but placements are very poor.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average here. Our campus is huge, but the facilities are just average. Wi-Fi facility is very poor, and computer labs and library are not updated for a long time. However, classrooms are good, neat and clean. Hostel facilities are good, and the rooms and food are good.
    Faculty: Faculty members here are good. They are highly qualified and very helpful in nature. They help us to work on live projects and workshops. They also help students in internship projects. Their teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant and very helpful.

    It is the best university for distance education.
    Placements: Uttarakhand Open University is well known and good for its education quality. The placement record of M.A in mass communication is very good. In the previous year, many students got placed in different media organisations.
    Infrastructure: The quality of the different facilities provided in this university is average. Because it is not a private university, some facilities are not good. The campus is not enabled with Wi-Fi facility, and there are no separate labs for different departments. But mess and canteen facilities are fine.
    Faculty: All the teachers here are helpful and well qualified. Especially faculty members of mass communication and management department are very helpful. They help us in projects, seminars and workshops. The course curriculum is very relevant, and it surely makes students industry-ready.

    It has good teaching staff members.
    Placements: The college does not provide placements, but faculty members are very helpful. Students use their own contacts to give opportunities in various media houses. The starting salary offered ranges between Rs. 10,000-15,000 per month. Many journalists are studying in UOU for a degree. Students from other states are also studying in UOU.
    Infrastructure: The radio studio is available in our college, and they own their channel named Hello Haldwani. The library is good. The university is new. They provide distance education, so there isn't any need for hostel and other facilities. Canteen is available on the campus.
    Faculty: Faculty members teaching quality is excellent. Teachers in our college are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. They make the students industry-ready, but personally, I felt the need to an increase in the day of the workshop.
    Other: I have chosen this course because in today's scenario media is the strongest pillar of democracy. Media person has the power to change society, to change nation thinking and nation future. I wish the college should provide more workshops and it should improve campus placements.
