CBSE 12th marking scheme for is such that 80 marks are allotted for Theory and 20 marks for Internal Assessment. The marking scheme for Science subjects have 70 marks and 30 for practicals.

Yes, you can attempt questions in any sequence in CBSE board class 12. Thus, if you know question no. 12, then instead of 1, 2, attempt those question that you remember properly.

CBSE Class 12 Accountancy Question Paper Pattern

The paper pattern of CBSE Class 12 is decided by the boards. It is same as the last year. The duration of the test is three hours as per CBSE Class 12 exam pattern. Total marks allotted to the exam are 80. CBSE Class 12 Accountancy question paper carries 34 questions. All questions are compulsory. The paper carries 1, 3, 4, 6 marks questions. The paper is divided into two parts- A and B. The details are shared below.

  • Part-A is compulsory for all candidates
  • Part - B has two options i.e. (i) Analysis of Financial Statements and (ii) Computerised Accounting. Students must attempt only one of the given options.

The latest CBSE exam pattern 2026 for class 12 comprises competency-based questions (MCQs, case-based, source-based questions, etc.), which carry 40% weightage. The Multiple choice questions (MCQs) carry 20% weightage and short/answer type questions carry 40% weightage.
