IIT Kharagpur Executive MBA Eligibility & Highlights 2026
In 2010, IIT Kharagpur VGSOM initiated a unique three-year E-MBA programme (spread over 12 trimesters) for working executives, termed aptly as the Executive MBA or E-MBA. This is conducted in the IIT Kharagpur campuses in Kolkata and Bhubaneswar and students enrolled in this course earn the degree of Master of Business Administration from IIT Kharagpur.
This three-year E-MBA enables working executives to upgrade their managerial knowledge and skills while continuing to be employed. Conducted via regular classes on weekends for the first two years and in company hands-on project work for three terms in the third year, this programme consists of a compulsory set of core subjects and a variety of elective subjects just as in a regular MBA programme. The total quantum of work required to earn the -MBA degree through VGSoM is 95 credits.

Students willing to get admission in E-MBA at VGSOM IIT Kharagpur have to apply online. The application fee is also paid online. The step-by-step process of the same is as follows:
