IIM Nagpur admission criteria for PGP 2026-2028 - The minimum CAT cut off is expected to be 95 percentile for General and EWS category candidates for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).
To pursue PGP at IIM Nagpur in 2026, the prerequisites include Graduation degree and valid CAT 2025 score. Candidates, who shall have selected IIM Nagpur as one of their preferred institutes at the time of filling up the CAT 2025 application form, will automatically become contenders for first round of IIM Nagpur admissions provided they clear the qualifying CAT cut off. If the candidate scores more than the qualifying cut off fixed for CAT 2025, they will be eligible for PI round to be held in April 2026. Last year, IIM Nagpur participated in the IIM CAP 2025 and it may participate this year too. IIM Nagpur 2026-2028 admission criteria will be announced soon. The IIM Nagpur PGP admission process included two stages:
- Conduct of WAT-PI round
- Final selection of candidates for admission

Candidates selected for PGPM batch of 2025-2027 received provisional admission intimation via e-mail. The candidate had to confirm acceptance of offer by paying the acceptance fee of INR 75,000 which will be adjusted towards Term I fees. Once confirmation fee is received by the institute before the last date, provisional admission was granted.

The CAT cut offs for IIM Bangalore hovers between 97-100 percentile. The qualifying CAT cut off required for being eligible for IIM Bangalore's Written Ability test (What) and Personal Interview PI is 85 percentile for General category students, whereas for SC candidates, it is 70 percentile. Candidates seeking admission to IIM Nagpur must ensure that they are eligible for the preferred course. Hereafter, they must register for CAT and indicate their preference for IIM Nagpur on the CAT application form. The institution shortlists candidates on the basis of CAT scores. Shortlisted candidates are invited for WAT and PI rounds after which the final score that is a total of the academic performance and interview round is compared. The candidates are finally selected on the basis of this total score.

IIM Nagpur admission are closed for the year 2025. IIM Nagpur opens admission to most of its courses in the first week on January every year. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website for the year 2026.

Candidates are shortlisted for IIM Nagpur PI round on the basis of their CAT scores. According to past cutoff trends, general and EWS candidates must try to achieve at least 95% or above in CAT. Hereafter, shortlisted candidates are invited via mail by the institution for PI and WAT rounds.

Yes, IIM Nagpur does offer scholarships on the basis of the CAT scores secured by an applicant.
