IIM Shillong admission criteria 2023-2025 has been released. For this upcoming session, Group Discussion (GD) will be conducted along with Personal Interview (PI) for MBA/PGP admission. The minimum qualifying CAT 2022 score required in all the three sections (VARC, DILR and QA) of the exam for being eligible for the GD-PI round is 75 percentile for students belonging to General and EWS categories, same as last year. For students belonging to DA and ST categories, the minimum CAT cut off is 50 percentile, whereas for SC category students it is 60 percentile. Those who will clear the GD-PI round will be considered for admission to IIM Shillong. Candidates who selected the institute as their preference while filling the CAT 2022 application form can check their shortlist status on the official website after the declaration of CAT 2022 result. Post the shortlisting process of candidates; they will be screened for PI round. To express interest in participating in PI round of IIM Shillong, the candidates will have to fill an online application form. Interview calls will be made to candidates in February 2023 and an email regarding the same will be sent out to all selected candidates. Here's how to apply:

  • Click on 'PGP admission'
  • Click on 'Click here to check shortlisting status'
  • Enter CAT 2022 registration ID and email ID
  • Click on 'submit' to check your shortlist status and follow the given instructions to apply

  • For candidates who don’t have a bachelor’s degree but have completed CA/ICWA/CS, the 'bachelor degree marks’ would be considered as the percentage marks obtained in the final examination in CA/ICWA/CS.
  • Candidates shortlisted for GD/PI rounds will be intimated through email and SMS tentatively in February.
  • The list of selected candidates will be uploaded on the official website, as well.
  • Selected candidates will be then required to fill up the interview form available online and upload the same.
  • Candidates, who appear in PI will be able to view their admission status, tentatively in May 2021 on the official website.
  • Admission offer letter would be sent to all the candidates shortlisted for admission.
