IIM Shillong Admission Criteria 2027-2029
IIM Shillong admission criteria 2027-2029 will be announced soon. The selection process for its PGP (MBA) programme will include Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). CAT cut off for PI shortlisting is expected to be around 75 percentile. The institute will release PI shortlist for MBA admission 2027 after the announcement of CAT 2026 result.
The CAT exam 2026 is scheduled on November 29, 2026 and the result will be declared in the third week of December 2026. IIM Shillong PI shortlist for PGP 2027-2029 will be out in the third week of January 2027. Check below, IIM Shillong selection criteria 2026-2028 for reference.

IIM Shillong selection criteria 2026-2028
The IIM Shillong cut off 2025 was same 2024, i.e. 75 percentile in all the three sections (VARC, DILR and QA) of the exam. For students belonging to DA and ST categories, the minimum CAT cut off to be eligible for the PI round was 50 percentile.
For SC category students it was 60 percentile in CAT exam. Those who cleared the PI round were considered for admission to IIM Shillong. The PI round was held in February and March. The CAT cut offs for IIM Bangalore hovers between 97-100 percentile.
