Our college provides great opportunities but placements are below expectations.

Placements: Placements were excellent as around 70 recruiters attended the placements drive, including some of the best domestic and international businesses. Industry received most prizes from JP Morgan, Amazon, Deloitte, and Infosys are the top recruiters. The average salary packages were around 14 LPA and the highest salary package was 22 LPA.

Infrastructure: Campus is well-equipped with all the necessary facilities such as the air-conditioners and well-furnished classrooms with projector facilities, Amphi-theatre, auditorium, seminar halls, computer labs, 24x7 Wi-Fi facility, and library with a collection of online and offline books, etc. Hostels charge a very nominal fee for a hostel is Rs.15,000 per annum. Mess and room facilities were included within this fee and the quality, as well as punctuality of the services, was very good. Rooms were on sharing basis and attached bathrooms. Facilities were different for both genders.

Faculty: The two-year course includes both fundamentals and advanced ideas, and VGSoM's 30-member teaching team also contributed significantly to giving the finest possible content to the students. The institute has a team of faculty who provide a great deal of management education. They adopt various teaching methodologies and techniques.

This college is worth all for our hard-earned money.

Placements: There was a total of 116 students who were placed in the 2019 - 2021 session. Around 72 companies participated in the placements drive. The highest salary package offered was 26.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 18.44 LPA. Some top recruiting domains were consulting, operations, analytics. Some top recruiters were Amazon, Accenture, Wipro, etc.

Infrastructure: The institutes' campus has a reputation as one of the best campuses in West Bengal. The campus was equipped with a banking facility, computer facility, laboratory facility, etc. There was a big library on the campus which was filled with a huge database. VGSoM charged a very nominal fee for hostel residence as it was just Rs 15,000 annually. Both mess and room facilities were included within this fee, and the quality, as well as punctuality of the services, was very good. The rooms were of sharing basis and attached washrooms along with all requirements available within the rooms. The facilities were different for both genders for privacy.

Faculty: This two years course had four semesters. The first year deals with core courses and second-year elective courses were taught. A summer internship happens at the end of the first year. Most of the faculty members of the institute had come from IIT Kharagpur. They make the students engage with the technical aspects of analysis.

Review of VGSOM IIT Kharagpur - Vinod Gupta School of Management.

Placements: The campus placements are good, with multiple offers in multiple domains. The average package offered is around 17 LPA, and the median is around 16 LPA. Many students get placed in consulting and analytics. The course curriculum is designed in such a way that such offers become feasible to candidates. The college has been achieving 100% placements consistently for the past 4 years and has also added some big brands like ITC, Amazon, Akzo Nobel, Jio Saavn, Dell, RBI etc.

Infrastructure: We used to indulge in various activities like swimming, and we had a proper gymkhana where we used to work out. It was well-equipped with all the latest machines. Apart from this, the college has a proper seminar hall. The hostel is good and well-maintained with ventilated rooms and 24-hours water and electricity supply. Apart from this, the hostel has a good and friendly environment, which actually helps us to fit in very quickly.

Faculty: We are taught various aspects of managerial concepts like managerial economics, financial management, and operational management. Along with this, there was a mandatory dissertation report which was supposed to be submitted during the final year. The college offers a micro specialisation in analytics which is its forte, However, finance courses are not generally taken up by students here.

I am happy with our college.

Placements: About 65% of the students got placed from our university. The highest salary package offered was 5.6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was Rs. 90,000 per annum. Goodyear was the top recruiter for our course. About 56% of the students get internships in Goodyear and Nestle company. They mostly offer marketing and sales roles.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was not very much good, but the canteen facilities were good. All food items were well packaged and hygienic also. Our college also provided good Wi-Fi facility and hostel facilities. Medical facilities were also good. Sports commuter was also good, and they also organise sports meet every year.

Faculty: Our teachers were good, and they all are PhD graduates and well qualified. They help us to do new live projects, and they all focus on making students think creatively. They all are well defined to provide great knowledge through their experience.

I'm totally satisfied with university as placements are best.

Placements: IIT Kharagpur is the best college in placements in every field and each student got more than one placement offers from different companies on a high scale package. Some of them are interested and pursuing internships while some have others goals and they are preparing for it.

Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure, it is very attractive and big. The library is all equipped with thousands of books and very big in size. There are separate number of hostels each having their own mess and food quality is also good. Sports grounds for cricket, football, volleyball court, basketball court, table tennis plus indoor games facilities are available. The labs are well maintained by staff members with all instruments upgraded and you can do your work or any research work according to a time slot given to you.

Faculty: Faculty members are the best since most of them are in college for many years and highly experienced in their fields. Their knowledge is high regarding the current situations of the market and industries. Some of them have good contacts with industries. The course curriculum is well accurately designed by board members. Hence, we have no difficulty regarding curriculum.

A goto B-School under the IIT fraternity.

Placements: It has one of the best placement across schools. A wide variety of profiles were offered by top firms across the country and it covered different industries involving finance, operations, Marketing and sales, consultancy, analytics etc. All the students were placed during the placement drive only.

Infrastructure: We had the state of the art facilities. Being a part of the IIT system, we had access to all the amenities of the system. There was a huge central library, along with a digital version of it as well. Also the Gymkhana was state of the art and we had a tech market as well.

Faculty: The faculty members were excellent. Their teaching process was brilliant, and it included both the theoretical and practical application of the same. Case study based teaching helped us particularly. The course curriculum was highly relevant to the industry standards and also is regularly updated.
