Placements: In our university, basically, a student became eligible for placement in the last year or last semester of his or her course. There are various private companies and organizations that visit our college for placement annually. Some of them were Redbus, Byju's, Unacademy, etc. Last year, about 53% were placed by these companies with great packages. The average annual package was 14 lacs, and the highest was 25 lacs by Byju's and Unacademy. I plan to become a professor or teacher at any university soon. There are quite a few other plans too, like currently preparing for the entrance exam.
Infrastructure: No hostel facility is available as this is an open college but yes, there are a lot of PGs available and most of the college personnel know about that so one can get help from them. The average rent of PG is INR 5,000 with the meal. Hostel Fee: INR 5,000 per year
External Expenses: Rs. 2000–Rs. 4000
Faculty: I chose this course because I have an interest in it. There are 70 students and it is very crowded. Their faculty members are good at studying, and their teaching methods are very nice. There were 3 hours of timing in the examination. Class Size: 70
Course Fee: INR 7,000 per year.

Review of IGNOU - Indira Gandhi National Open University.
Placements: Top roles offered were content writer, high school teacher, educator, assistant professor, catalog specialist, corporate trainer, customer relationship manager, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college had many study centers. Our college provided all the required facilities. Classrooms were spacious. Libraries, labs, and playgrounds were not available.
Faculty: The course curriculum was relevant. It was similar to any regular college curriculum. In several courses, students had the opportunity to engage in project work during their second year. Additionally, there were annual assignments assigned to assess students' performance. Exams were difficult. If your content isn't well written, you might end up with a score of around 50%.

My review about this college
Learning Experience: Course, study procedure, and exam procedure are smooth. In any course at the University, one can get so much knowledge and information. I am so grateful to the University for all these. After my admission, I received study materials and books from the study center. IGNOU sends all study material by post and also a project guide, which is very convenient for the student. It's an open university, so there's no campus placement, but it's the best open university. The evaluation of marks is a bit tough, but it's considered equal to regular universities. Exams are conducted in exam centers.
Placements: College helps you get interviewed by different hotels for the 6-month industrial training program. The stipend offered is approximately 3000. The placement scenario is not that good. According to me, getting a placement depends on a student's academic career: how he has performed in exams, how attentive he was in class, how active he was in group discussions, and so on. Placement depends on all these criteria. Only a deserving child gets a placement. There are ample opportunities for graduates and post-graduates to select the best career for themselves. The placement depends on oneself.
Faculty: All the faculty members were very supportive and friendly. There were both male as well as female faculty members, but everyone was like a real friend, a real teacher, and a real path-showing person. They all treated us, students, as their own children and never made harsh words with any of the students during my study period. The structure of the course was very good and well-organized, but it was on the tough side. Very little focus was given to practicals, but I had to submit 8 assignments in total in the 2-year M.A. course.

I solely recommend IGNOU if one is planning to attain a particular degree along with their job.
Placements: Students become eligible for placements in their final year/semester. The placements offered at IGNOU are decent as top companies like Reliance Life Insurance, HCL Technologies, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Deloitte, YouTube, etc., come here. The average package offered was 3-5 LPA. Sectors like business development come on top with recruiting 13% of students, followed by operations with 12% of students.
Infrastructure: The campus of IGNOU is very good and attractive. The classrooms are very good and well-equipped. There are labs for all practical subjects. Free Wi-Fi is available. The hostel rooms are good, and the food is also of good quality.
Faculty: The course curriculum is very limited in IGNOU, as I have seen in other universities. The faculty are a bit advanced which makes it difficult for average students to have a better understanding of the topics. These are the only cons I experienced here until now. I chose this course because I want to become a professor, and I am also pursuing B.Ed with the same discipline, which will help me in my further qualifications. Here, the faculty-student ratio is approximately 1:60 during classes. The faculty in IGNOU are highly qualified and experienced, and their teaching method is advanced and crisp at the same time. I enrolled for this course in July 2019, but till now, I have given two term-end exams for the first year and second year. Although, I have submitted my assignments in the first year and second year, and my experience was pretty good as the questions were related to the entire course.
Other: In IGNOU, the fee structure is a thing that everyone should go for because you'll not be able to know when the course has been completed. The fee structure of IGNOU is very affordable, and even the students of reserved categories have the opportunity to enroll in a one-time free course, be it any certification course, Diploma, graduate Diploma, or even a degree. There is hardly any fee hike in IGNOU, and the examination fee is also minimal, Rs.200 per paper. The learners belonging to reserved categories are eligible for the government of India scholarships. Students are guided to collect the scholarship forms from the office of the Social Welfare Officer of their state, fill it, and submit the completed form to their respective regional centers. Placements: IGNOU provide better chances of placement. Many MNCs and other corporate industries hire students. Companies like quick. Com, reliance, Aviva, Bharat BPO etc. Give chance to freshers to set their career. After completing M.A. ( English from IGNOU one can get a chance to work in educational sector along with that student can also pursue higher education for professional courses like they can go for journalism, content writer.
Infrastructure: IGNOU study center are Colaberated with Delhi university colleges. So availability of Wi-Fi and library are good for students also study material provided by is made my high experience professors and one can get deep knowledge of subject. Also IGNOU organize various sports camps for students.
Faculty: Professors of IGNOU are high qualified and experienced, they are very helpful for students. Students can ask doubts related to their subject in weekend classes. Although scoring in IGNOU is quite difficult but if you work hard you can easily get above 60%. .
Other: Knowledge of English language is important in each and every industry either it's educational institutions or any MNC. So having post graduation degree in English language has I value. Also it's a distance learning university so students can do other professional courses also.

Yes, a master's from IGNOU is also eligible for the NET exam provided they have 55% in their aggregate as this is a central government-approved university.

Hi Nishi,
If you want to take admission in IGNOU for B.Ed, this percentage is not sufficient, because minimum percentage required for B.Ed is 50% for general and SC/ST 45% but you can apply for MA. For that, percentage doesn't matter.
