English courses are available at colleges all over India at various academic levels, including undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate. The minimum score required for admission to an English course is 50% in the 10+2 exam. Colleges grant admission to students in English Courses either after completing class 12 or appearing in entrance exams. However, some universities admit students based only on merit. Students can get a bachelor’s degree through a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in English, BA (English), or BA (English Literature).

The significance of the English Language is widening in India. Online certificate English courses are also available for learners at all skill levels on well-known websites like Udemy, Coursera, edX, etc. Enrolling in these courses does not require any prerequisites.
