IGNOU is affordable for everyone.

Placements: Please, don't expect placements from IGNOU in M.A. Psychology. After doing M.A. Psychology in Clinical, you need to do more Higher Studies like M. Phil or Ph.D. to get Job or Placements. But you can do some paid internships with the help of IGNOU.

Infrastructure: IGNOU has allotted study centres. My study centre is Jesus and Mary College, which has a great infrastructure. It has all the required facilities for the students. Every Study Center is different and can vary from each other. Speaking about IGNOU head office ( Sake), it's also have quite impressive environment.

Faculty: Don't expect high. I'll say it's all about your luck. We had our course in the period of Corona, so it was quite difficult to manage everything. The classes were mostly online and teachers were quite good. The course has almost everything important and IGNOU books are really helpful. For any major information, it's better to check your RC website. Exams aren't hard if you study well even just the IGNOU provided books.

Other: IGNOU really lacks when it comes to connecting with their students. Their system is still 90's and working style is old. Even for smaller information, you need to struggle a lot. The best thing about IGNOU is the choice of exams, you can chose when you want toi give exams.

As of February 2025, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has yet to announce cut-off marks for entry into its Master of Arts (M.A.) in Psychology program. Entry is mostly on the merit of fulfilling the eligibility criteria and not on competitive cut-offs.
