Review of IGNOU - Indira Gandhi National Open University.
Placements: On average, around 70% of the students got placed in our course. I was not offered any salary package in our course. Infosys, IBM, etc., are top recruiting companies. Almost 40% of the students got internships from our course. I was offered the role of a financial analyst at IBM.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good. The infrastructure of the area is good, but it is old. Wi-Fi is not available, but the library is huge. Classrooms are big, but air-conditioners are not available. The quality of facilities is good. The hostel is clean, but the quality of food is average. Medical facilities are not up to the mark.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, quite qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. Everything is easy to understand. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams in the college are of moderate level. The passing percentage is 50%.
Other: I have chosen this course to study further. It made me aware of the taxation system, and it provides great knowledge of economics. It would have been better if the course had been a bit easier to understand. Events and fests are not conducted due to Covid 19.

I am fully satisfied with our college because it provides distance learning.
Placements: Our college does not provide placements. However, every type of courses is offered by the university for the placements. We can do distance learning from this university by just writing exams. Classes are held on off days.
Infrastructure: Indira Gandhi National Open University works in a Virtual Campus which they started in 1999. Our college works online, and on Saturday and Sunday, classes are held near the subdivision office, which is near to our college location.
Faculty: Due to less interaction between teachers and students, we are not able to get help from the teachers. However, all the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum provided by our college is relevant to the extent, but it doesn't provide exposure to real-world in practical.
Other: I chose this course because we do not have to attend classes regularly, and attendance is not compulsory.
