Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com. Hons) - Batch of 2027
Offered by Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi
4.6

It provided good placements with a package of 3 LPA.
Placements: 20-40% of students get placed every year in B.Com (Hons.). The highest package ranges from 8-10 LPA, and the lowest package ranges from 2-3 LPA. The average package offered ranges from 3-4 LPA in this course. Top recruiting companies of B.Com (Hons.) are Wipro, Deloitte, Teach for India, etc. 50% of students got internships from the B.Com (Hons.) in companies like Teach for India, EY, and Oxfam India. The top roles offered are marketing executive, HR intern, and analyst.
Infrastructure: Labs and the library are good. Wi-Fi connection is pathetic. The college is beautiful and well-maintained. I don't know about the hostel as I don't live there. Canteen food is not up to the mark. It has to improve a lot. Next to the canteen, there is a newly built Amul parlour and a coffee and maggi shop. Coffee and Maggi taste really good at a moderate price. A restroom is available for the sick students. Proper medical facilities are also provided for the sick students. For sports and games, there is a big green field. Sports like badminton, etc., are available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and have great knowledge. They teach very well. They clear all doubts. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are a little bit tough. All students need to do is concentrate and revise topics thoroughly. Students can pass if they prepare according to the syllabus and practice PYQs. The pass percentage is a minimum of 40%.
Other: I chose B.Com (Hons) because I wanted to pursue my career in the corporate field. The best thing about this course is that it makes us more practical and boosts our knowledge with real-life examples. More information regarding business ideas and programs for enhancing skills in the commerce field should be provided. Events held in this college are great. Fests are amazing. The campus has the best crowd that cheers and enjoys every fest. The campus surroundings are very neat and clean. This is a women's college, so girls feel confident in wearing whatever they want. Overall, this college is great for enjoying college life and learning.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2027
Offered by Swami Shraddhanand College, University of Delhi

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty members, infrastructure, and teaching style.
Placements: This college has placement cell, which provides only few information about internships, job opportunities, etc. This college has very poor placement. The highest package of Swami Shraddhanand College is approximately 12 LPA. But many cricketers who played IPL, national matches are from this college.
Infrastructure: Swami Shraddhanand College has two campuses, old and new campus. New campus is very good with decent classrooms but the condition of washrooms is very poor. There is Wi-Fi but not for students. Swami Shraddhanand College does not provide hostel facilities for outside Delhi students.
Faculty: Swami Shraddhanand College has below average faculty members or teaching staff. But only few teachers are there who complete the syllabus and give their efforts to their students. In simple terms, we can say that this college doesn't make a student industrial ready. Some semester exams are very easy and some are difficult but can be pass easily. Overall, the passing percentage is approximately 95%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to give CA inter exam directly without giving CA foundation. I wish to improve our commerce staff and rebuild old campus and there classes.

B.Sc. in Physical Science with Electronics - Batch of 2026
Offered by Ramjas College, University of Delhi

In short, college is nice. The crowd is nice. If you want placements, then course is not worthy.
Placements: Placements in this particular course are not up to mark and in order to get placement, either you have to do a Masters or appear for placements on your own. No prominent companies come for placements. If I were to show the percentage of students getting placement, it would be 10%.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is well maintained; classes don't have AC but conditioning is good; labs are in good condition, not perfect condition; and staff is really supportive and helpful. Hostels are available for both girls and boys and they have proper security and water facilities. Hostels are provided on the basis of the merits of students.
Faculty: The faculty is good and the curriculum is mainly based on PCM class twelve. Exams are not that difficult if you study for at least one month. Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable, and the quality of their teaching is good. Semester exams are easy at a level of 12th grade PCM, not that difficult.
Other: In order to appear for government exams, I chose this course. There are many areas for improvement. Cultural and annual events were nicely organized last year.

I am satisfied with college. I have created memories, and got best tutors.
Placements: I have received many internship opportunities while I am studying in college. My seniors also got placed in top companies. I do not know about the companies. But the average package is 6 LPA to 7 LPA. Over 40% of students got internships from my course, and maybe others like me don't want to do internships now and want to study further.
Infrastructure: All things mentioned are available to us. We get regular lab classes because we have a core subject that is totally based on computer applications. Beside that in elective papers, we also have lab classes by choice. Wi-Fi is there for us but the range varies in classrooms. Library is also there and during exam time, we get benefits for meals and extra hours of stay.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach us the best of their knowledge. I say the difficulty depends on the preparation of the student. If they study well, then there's nothing to worry about semester exams. I must say learn every day don't take it slightly it will make your career.
Other: There are better opportunities if you want to pursue a career in mathematics. But it takes time and consistency so try not to give up on your plans and do things that you think it is right.

I will not say that I am dissatisfied. Our college is really good and I miss it very much.
Placements: Speaking truly, only a few of us were placed. The highest salary was around 12 LPA. The lowest was around 3 LPA. The average salary was 5 LPA. Recruiting companies were Deloitte, EY, and DE Shaw. Internships were not from very good companies, they were okay and some were fake also. Fake like Aspire Consultant and Zielhoch. Roles offered were business development, data analysts, and others.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was not at all, never connected to any network, no range nothing at all. Even sometimes calls were not reachable. Labs were nice and well-maintained with fully air-conditioned. Classrooms were not so good benches were comfortable. Library was a good place at all.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful except few. They were knowledgeable and qualified with good notes. Course curriculum was relevant. Generally, they were okay but sometimes you will find very difficult such that in B.Com Hons we got corporate finance paper at CA level which was difficult to crack. But thankfully, I was passed at that time.
Other: I chose this course because I was from commerce background. Best thing was all about notes from teachers which were above those books, activities, or engagement. Events were not at all good, there were several fights during that time.

Detailed analysis of RLAC by a senior.
Placements: Approximately 2–3 students get placed in college and most students don't even have the confidence to sit for the placement. The college has a placement cell, which can help students get placed. Students and teachers are still working to make it good. I hope they will be able to do it soon.
Infrastructure: The faculty was good but the infrastructure, according to the fee structure, was considered the worst. No hostel facility was available for the students, which they must provide. If you want to pursue a B.Sc. with honors in computer science, you should consider RLAC as your last choice.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable but the success of students depends on not only teachers but on students too. Teachers are very competent and help students with all their doubts. Teachers help students solve all their doubts.

Q: Β  Can I take admission to DU with 60% in Class 12?
A:

DU is considered one of the most competitive universities in India for Commerce, Science and Arts education at the undergraduate level. However, starting 2022, DU admission process has shifted to CUET-UG based admission process. Those with a valid score in CUET UG exam who have passed their Class 12 are eligible to take admission now. However, starting 2022, admission for all the undergraduate courses at DU will be based on CUET (conducted by NTA). The most popular specialisations offered under BSc (Hons) at the University of Delhi remain Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Computer Science, among various others.
