    On Admissions
Q:   Can I get into DU with 500 score in CUET UG?
    A:

Delhi University offers UG courses based on CUET UG exam. Based on the DU B.Com Hons. cutoff 2024, It is not possible to get into DU with 500 score as the cutoffs for all the affiliated colleges under Delhi University were comparatively above than the score of 500. Further, DU CUET UG cutoff 2024 ranged from 608 to 758 for the General AI category candidates for B.Com Hons. However, cutoffs can vary as per the courses, for some courses, it is below and for other, it is above. Candidates can check the CUET last round scores for various courses to have an idea of the colleges and their respective results from the DU page:

Q:   How will I be allocated a seat at DU via the CSAS allocation (CUET UG counselling process)?
    A:

For seat allocation at DU, students are required to lock their college and course preferences after the result is out. Delhi University will consider normalised scores provided by NTA to calculate the merit scores as per programme specific eligibility. The highest possible preference will be provisionally allocated to the candidates considering the following
    criteria:

    • Program-Specific merit
    • Category of the students (UR/ OBC-NCL/ SC/ ST/ EWS/ Minority)
    • Availability of seats
    • Any other allocation rules, policies, or criteria citied by (CSAS (UG)- 2025) or University of Delhi
Q:   Can I get DU with 90 percentile?
    A:

In 2023, the competition has reached very high in terms of cutoffs released. The cutoffs had shown a whooping increase over the years and set a bar for the candidates to put a lot of effort. With a mere 90 percentile, candidates won't be able to get admission in DU, they must need to acquire a minimum cutoff of 98 to secure a seat at Delhi University.

    Q:   Is DU admission open?
    A:

DU admission is open. Admission in Delhi University is based on CUET-UG & CUET-PG scores. Below are the upcoming events for DU admission:

Infrastructure: Facilities were not very good. There were many shortcomings in infrastructure, like the availability of fresh water. Wi-Fi facilities and the library were available. Classrooms needed renovation. A cafeteria was present on the campus for dating. Canteen food was good. First-aid medical support was available.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and knowledgeable in their respective domains. The teaching quality of our faculty members was not very interesting. The course curriculum was relevant and helpful in treatment research. Various seminars were conducted that made us industry-ready. Semester exams were moderate.

    Hindu College review diary.
Placements: Companies come here and provide a package of about the highest 30 LPA, as much as I heard, as it depends upon your skills. So, do your best.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are fully air-conditioned and have good infrastructure. Labs are also there. Wi-Fi works in the lab and classrooms. The library is also there and has a great number of books. You can have a detailed explanation of your current program books there.
Faculty: Teachers here are quite helpful and knowledgeable. They will try to make you understand the whole theory. Besides the study, many curriculum activities are also there. And to take part in them, many societies are there to build your personality. You can join them according to your taste.
Other: Don't fear the semester exams. Study well, follow the teachers, and you will definitely pass.

Kirori Mal College at University of Delhi in M.Sc. course intake year 2026 is the best opportunity
Placements: This college’s placement facilities are good for scoring above 7 CGPA marks because there is a college rule that students below 7 CGPA are not allowed in the placement cell. In this college, companies provide packages like 2.5 Lacs to 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: In this college, facilities provided are very good and use high-quality infrastructure for providing facilities. There are facilities like classrooms, bathrooms, labs, Wi-Fi, lift, auditorium, etc. Facilities are available, but hostel facility is not available because long-distance students do not take admission in this course.
Faculty: This college teachers are very good and solve every question of the students. The teachers are very intelligent, and master’s degree qualified teachers teach the students. This course is a total 2-year duration after the Bachelor’s degree, and the exams are not difficult to pass, but scoring marks is hard for a few students only.

    My review of this college.
Placements: Hansraj has very good placement opportunities. Every year, different MNCs and other companies visit the college for placements. There is a special cell in college for students called the placement cell. For science courses, there are very few opportunities. This college also arranges industrial campus interviews for graduates or postgraduate students for their bright future. Companies like Microsoft, Deloitte, Google, etc., visit the college to offer a good number of jobs to students. The average package offered was 2.5 LPA, and the highest package offered last time was 9 LPA. Students get a proper job through the campus.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good, and students are provided with basic amenities. Mess food is better than other colleges. Hostel facilities are only for boys. Hostel annual fee is very low and pocket-friendly. Students are provided with good security. The hostel is next to college, and is located near Kamala Nagar.
Faculty: Faculty members are trained and professionals. They have deep knowledge about it, and I like their way of teaching. Faculty members of the college are really good and supportive of students. They help us out through thick and thin. They guide and mentor us. The best thing of all is that they don't put pressure on students regarding attendance. Every year, two semesters take place and subject changes after each semester. We have one internal assessment of each subject, which carries 25 marks. After that, we have to take one sessional exam, which carries 75 marks. The course structure is as good as it can possibly be. The syllabus of semesters is planned in such a way that students progress right from the basics to the more advanced stuff. The course is supplemented with field work to help students gain more knowledge in their respective fields.

Q:   What is DU CUET UG Counselling process?
    A:

Before the CUET counselling process for DU will even begin, it is necessary that aspirants opt for DU during CUET form filling and later apply on the CSAS portal to be eligible for admission. The admission process after CUET result declaration is explained below:

Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases.

Step 2: Submit College + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard.

Step 3: The University has released the dates for three DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists for all categories.

    • The "freeze" option in seat allocation for CSAS (DU) is to be selected by the students to confirm their admission choice to the allocated college and course at DU.
    • If candidates are happy with the assigned college and course, they can freeze the request through their dashboard.
    • Once they select this option, they will not be considered for "upgradation" of choice in further rounds of CSAS.
    • Candidates must only select this option only if they are satisfied with the allocated seat and want to take admission to this course & college
    • If they do not choose to upgrade or freeze your admission, their current status will be maintained.

Step 4: Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the concerned college will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student basis the verification.

Step 5: Once the DU-affiliated college accords the approval, candidates will have to pay the 'Admission Fee' to confirm their seat.

On the basis of the availability of seats due to rejections, cancellations, and withdrawals, DU may announce multiple allocation rounds. The University of Delhi will display the vacant seats on its admission website (admission.uod.ac.in) before every allocation round.
