If you are looking for the best university in Delhi for B.Tech in ECE or EEE, then the top choice is the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. It offers excellent academics, research exposure, and very high placement packages, making it the most prestigious option. However, it requires a very high rank in JEE Advanced, so it is only possible for top-performing students. After that, Delhi Technological University and Netaji Subhas University of Technology are considered the best practical options for most students. Both have strong reputations, good faculty, and very solid placement records in both core and non-core roles. Students from ECE and EEE in these colleges often get good opportunities in core companies as well as IT and analytics roles.Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi is another strong option, especially if you are more inclined towards electronics, communication, and tech-based roles. It has excellent placements and research exposure. Other colleges like Jamia Millia Islamia and IGDTUW are also decent, especially if you are looking for good academics with comparatively lower cutoffs.Overall, if you compare everything, IIT Delhi is the best, but DTU and NSUT are the most balanced and achievable top choices for most students.

Pursuing a B.Ed from Delhi University in 2025 after completing B.A. (Hons) French in 2021 is a very practical route if your goal is to become a French teacher. The gap of a few years does not affect eligibility, as long as you meet the marks requirement (minimum 50% in graduation, 45% for reserved categories). Why B.Ed from DU is a Good ChoiceEligibility: Your B.A. (Hons) French qualifies you for B.Ed, since DU accepts graduates from recognised disciplines.Specialization: You can choose Language Education (French) as your teaching subject.Recognition: DU's B.Ed is NCTE-approved, making you eligible for CTET, State TETs, and school teaching posts.Career Path: After B.Ed, you can apply for PGT French posts in CBSE schools, IB schools, and international schools. Addressing the Gap (2021–2025)The gap is not a barrier; many candidates pursue B.Ed years after graduation. You can strengthen your profile by:Highlighting any teaching/tutoring experience in French during the gap.Completing short language certifications (DELF/DALF, Alliance Française) to show continuity.Preparing for CUET PG 2025, which is the entrance route for DU B.Ed. Admission Process (DU B.Ed 2025 via CUET PG)CUET PG Registration: January–February 2025.Exam: March–April 2025.Result & Counseling: May–June 2025.Classes Begin: July–August 2025. ConclusionYes, it is a good idea to pursue B.Ed from DU in 2025 after B.A. (Hons) French. The gap does not affect eligibility, and DU's B.Ed will qualify you for teaching French in schools. Strengthen your profile with language certifications and teaching practice during the gap to make your application more competitive.

Okay so let me clear this properly because when I was researching this myself, I got confused by the same question. There are actually two different syllabuses you need to know about — one for getting admission into DU Economics Hons, and one for what you study after you get in. Most answers mix these up.For Admission — CUET is the gate.Since 2022, DU doesn't use class 12 marks directly anymore. Everything goes through CUET (Common University Entrance Test). For BA Economics Hons at DU, the subject combination you need to appear in is: any one language from List A + Mathematics + any two subjects (at least one from List B1). Your merit is calculated purely on your CUET score. The CUET Economics syllabus itself is almost identical to your NCERT Class 12 Economics — about 98% overlap. It covers two main parts:Microeconomics — consumer behaviour, demand and supply, market structures (perfect competition, monopoly, oligopoly), production, cost and revenue, producer equilibrium.Macroeconomics — national income and its measurement, money and banking, government budget, balance of payments, foreign exchange rates, and Indian economic development. For 2026, NTA has also added a new chapter on Indian Economic Development in the CUET Economics syllabus. So if you're preparing right now, make sure you include that.Minimum eligibility is 50% in Class 12 (45% for reserved categories). No age limit. One thing nobody tells you clearly — Mathematics is mandatory for DU Economics Hons. If you didn't have Maths in Class 12, you cannot apply for this specific course at DU. You'd have to look at other universities.Quick tip on preparation: Your Class 12 NCERT books — both the Introductory Microeconomics and Macroeconomics ones — are genuinely enough to cover the CUET portion. Don't overthink it.On a slightly different note — if you're considering economics because you're interested in government jobs, salaries, or public sector careers, the kind of digital transformation happening in India right now is genuinely exciting. Bihar's government, for example, has fully digitized salary and HR management for over 4 million employees through hrmsbiharlogin.github.io — and with the 8th Pay Commission rolling out, tools like 8thpaycommissionsalarycalculator.com are getting thousands of searches daily from government employees checking their revised salaries. Understanding these systems through an economics lens is actually really valuable now.For the detailed official syllabus PDF, check cuet.nta.nic.in directly — that's the most updated source.

With a CUET PG score of 110, admission to M.Sc. Mathematics at Delhi University is very unlikely. DU's CUET PG cutoffs for Science courses, including Mathematics, generally range much higher—often above 200–250 marks out of 300 for the General category. Why 110 Is Not EnoughCUET PG is scored out of 300.For DU's popular PG programs (like M.Sc. Mathematics), cutoffs are usually 200+ for General category.Even in later rounds, cutoffs rarely drop below 180–190.A score of 110 places you well below the safe zone for DU admission.Typical DU CUET PG Cutoffs (2025 Trends)CourseGeneral Category Cutoff (Marks)Your Score (110)Admission ChanceM.Sc. Mathematics~220–250110❌ Not possibleM.Sc. Physics~230–240110❌ Not possibleM.Sc. Chemistry~225–235110❌ Not possibleM.Sc. Applied Sciences (less competitive)~180–200110❌ Not possibleAlternative OptionsSince DU is not realistic at 110, here are practical alternatives:Other Central/State Universities with Lower CutoffsJamia Millia Islamia, BHU (for non-core branches).State universities in Rajasthan, UP, MP, and Haryana often have lower thresholds.Private UniversitiesAmity University, Lovely Professional University (LPU), Chandigarh University, VGU Jaipur. These institutions admit students with lower CUET PG scores or even direct merit-based admission.Consider Allied CoursesIf Mathematics cutoff is too high, explore Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science programs in private/state universities. Key AdviceDU admission is not possible at 110.Apply to state universities and private institutions where cutoffs are lower.Keep backup options open in related fields (Statistics, Applied Math, Data Science).
