Delhi University MBA is a two-year course offered across four semesters. The PG-level course is offered through the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Department of Finance and Business Economics (DBE) and Delhi School of Economics. MBA is also available at DU Sol, the National Institute of Health and Family Welfare and Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce.

For FMS MBA:
- Students must complete a bachelor's degree after 12 years of formal schooling with at least 50% aggregate at graduation level (45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL/ EWS/ PwD/ CW) or equivalent CGPA to apply for DU MBA.
- Aspirants appearing for the final year examination of a bachelor's degree may also apply.
- Applicants with CGPA scores must indicate the equivalent percentage of marks

For DFBE MBA:

Delhi University MBA Admission Dates 2025
The admission cycle for the MBA course commences at the university with the release of the CAT application form. IIMs generally release the national-level exam application in August, and the application window closes in September. Candidates seeking admission must know the CAT dates. DU is considered one of the most competitive universities in India for Commerce, Science and Arts education at the undergraduate level. The university and its affiliated colleges was attracting the cream layer of crowd till the time admission was subject to Class 12 scores. While reserved category candidates still had minor chances of getting into a not-so-popular course of DU with 60% in Class 12, a General category student with 60% had no chance of getting into any good college or course at DU.
However, starting 2022, DU admission process has shifted to CUET-UG based admission process. Those with a valid score in CUET UG exam who have passed their Class 12 are eligible to take admission now. While the chances of getting into a good DU college are still low at this score, the chances of getting a seat have increased now (provided you score extremely well in CUET UG).
While minimum Class 12 are required, DU admissions are not based on a candidate's Class 12 performance. Instead, CUET UG score is the main selection criteria at DU. The higher CUET score, the better chances at top DU colleges. Hence, applicants have to meet the minimum eligibility of 40%-60% depending on the programme.
CUET UG is compulsory for admission in the affiliated colleges of University of Delhi for UG courses. Delhi University introduced admissions through CUET scores in 2024 for candidates who seek admission. Candidates will not be granted admission on the basis of merit of class 12th. However, there are some specific percentage criteria needed to appear for the CUET exam for class 12th candidates which is given below:
- Students must have passed Class 12 or appeared in Class 12 from a recognized board in any stream to take admission to bachelor’s degree programmes in the central, state, private or deemed universities.
- For the General category, the candidate needs to secure a minimum of 50% in Class 12; for SC/ST, candidates must have secured a minimum of 45% in Class 12 to be eligible for the CUET 2025. For BTch programmes, the minimum aggregate for the General category candidates is 45%, and that of the reserved category candidates is 40%.

DU accepts CAT scores to provide admission to the MBA programme. The shortlisted Students s will be further called for a personal interview round. Yes, it is possible to get in DU without CUET. However, this is not applicable for traditional regular UG courses. For most programmes, the university asks for CUET UG or CUET PG score. For courses, such as MBA and Law programmes, the university also considers other exams. Students can also join DU SOL, NCWEB using Class 12 marks and skipping CUET.
Delhi University offers UG courses based on CUET UG exam. Based on the DU B.Com Hons. cutoff 2024, It is not possible to get into DU with 500 score as the cutoffs for all the affiliated colleges under Delhi University were comparatively above than the score of 500. Further, DU CUET UG cutoff 2024 ranged from 608 to 758 for the General AI category candidates for B.Com Hons. However, cutoffs can vary as per the courses, for some courses, it is below and for other, it is above. Candidates can check the CUET last round scores for various courses to have an idea of the colleges and their respective results from the DU page:
DU registrations via CUET 2023 for UG programmes began on Feb 10, 2023 and were open till Mar 30, 2023. Additionally, for admission to PG courses, DU CUET-PG registrations for the 2023 session started on Mar 20 and were open till May 5. Interested candidates were able to apply online on the official website of CUET UG and CUET PG.
Followed by the application forms of CUET UG and CUET PG, DU has already started the DU CSAS registration for final college and course allotment of students who qualified the CUET UG exam. The process will begin soon for CUET PG qualifiers as well.
DU University registrations via CUET usually begins in February every year. Soon after the release of the notification, the CUET application process commences online. Candidates willing to appear for CUET exam must ensure to fill out the application form online when released. After the declaration of CUET (UG) results by NTA, the University of Delhi opened a preference-filling phase on its official website. Candidates are required to login on their CSAS (UG) dashboard to choose the courses they are willing to take admission if allocated. Candidates must give their preference for the course + college for every UG course selected by them.
For filling the preferences of course & college combinations in which they are willing to take admission, they must do the following:
- Choose multiple course + college combinations (It is in the best interest of the candidate to fill the maximum number of preferences)
- Take utmost care while selecting the course + college combinations as the order of selection will also determine the preference order.
- Reorder the preferences to prioritize the preference order of course + college combinations
- The submitted preference order will determine the allocation of seat
Candidate must confirm their order of preferences for the course + college combinations by clicking on 'Submit' cutton on/ before the last day of the preference-filling. It is important to note - Editing the course + college combination preference list after the deadline of preference-filling will not be allowed.

To get admission in Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, students have to meet the eligibiliity and appear for CUET UG. Admissions to all UG courses of the college are given through CUET only. Students have to then appear for the CSAS counselling process. Selected students have to report at

No, students can not get direct admission in Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies without CUET. The college accepts students for its UG programmes through CUET + CSAS process only. However, for the PG Diploma programme, students are offered merit-based seats and do not require any entrance.

Yes, of course! You are eligible to be admitted to Delhi University via CUET despite gettng a re-test in either of your class exams as you have an option to appear for you compartment exam. Reappearing for a subject will not affect your eligibility criteria for CUET.

No, Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies does not accept offline applications. The college solely accepts applications through CUET UG followed by CSAS portal only. Students have to apply at the official sites of the same.Â
