DU registrations via CUET 2023 for UG programmes began on Feb 10, 2023 and were open till Mar 30, 2023. Additionally, for admission to PG courses, DU CUET-PG registrations for the 2023 session started on Mar 20 and were open till May 5. Interested candidates were able to apply online on the official website of CUET UG and CUET PG.

DU University registrations via CUET usually begins in February every year. Soon after the release of the notification, the CUET application process commences online. MBA admission at Delhi University begins with applying for CAT. Eligible candidates can follow the steps given below for Delhi University admission to the MBA programmes.
1. Delhi University Application Process 2027
The first step in the Delhi University MBA admission process is to register for CAT entrance exam. The process are explained below:
- Visit the site of CAT exam at iimcat.ac.in.
- Click on 'New Registration'.
- Login with the ID.
- Upload required documents
- Pay application fee of INR 2,700 via credit/debit.
Step 2: Selection Process
Candidates will be called for GD and/or PI based on their CAT score. Cut-off is decided by the Admission Committee.
- GD/PI: Shortlisted students are called for a Personal Interview/Group Discussion round.
- Document Verification: Physical verification of original documents is done at this stage.
- Merit List: The university prepares merit list based on composite score of candidates in Class 10 exam, Class 12 exam, Graduation, PI/GD and CAT. The weightage may vary according to specific college. Merit List of selected candidates will be published on the Department of Commerce’s official website.

Candidates selected in Merit list are called for counselling. Those allotted a seat after counselling will receive a payment link for the course fee which they need to pay within the deadline to secure their seat.

Delhi University admission 2026 are now closed for the UG programmes. The DU CSAS_UG counselling process is has now concluded.
Candidates wishing to get admission in UG and PG courses at Delhi University have to qualify CUET exam. Applicants need to register and counsel through the university's Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal.
DU is considered one of the most competitive universities in India for Commerce, Science and Arts education at the undergraduate level. The university and its affiliated colleges was attracting the cream layer of crowd till the time admission was subject to Class 12 scores. While reserved category candidates still had minor chances of getting into a not-so-popular course of DU with 60% in Class 12, a General category student with 60% had no chance of getting into any good college or course at DU.
However, starting 2022, DU admission process has shifted to CUET-UG based admission process. Those with a valid score in CUET UG exam who have passed their Class 12 are eligible to take admission now. While the chances of getting into a good DU college are still low at this score, the chances of getting a seat have increased now (provided you score extremely well in CUET UG).
Before the CUET counselling process for DU will even begin, it is necessary that aspirants opt for DU during CUET form filling and later apply on the CSAS portal to be eligible for admission. The admission process after CUET result declaration is explained below:
Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases.
Step 2: Submit College + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard.
Step 3: The University has released the dates for three DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists for all categories.
- The "freeze" option in seat allocation for CSAS (DU) is to be selected by the students to confirm their admission choice to the allocated college and course at DU.
- If candidates are happy with the assigned college and course, they can freeze the request through their dashboard.
- Once they select this option, they will not be considered for "upgradation" of choice in further rounds of CSAS.
- Candidates must only select this option only if they are satisfied with the allocated seat and want to take admission to this course & college
- If they do not choose to upgrade or freeze your admission, their current status will be maintained.
Step 4: Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the concerned college will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student basis the verification.
Step 5: Once the DU-affiliated college accords the approval, candidates will have to pay the 'Admission Fee' to confirm their seat.
On the basis of the availability of seats due to rejections, cancellations, and withdrawals, DU may announce multiple allocation rounds. The University of Delhi will display the vacant seats on its admission website (admission.uod.ac.in) before every allocation round.

While minimum Class 12 are required, DU admissions are not based on a candidate's Class 12 performance. Instead, CUET UG score is the main selection criteria at DU. Students need to apply online and fill out an online registration form for admission to MBA of DU College.
- Candidates first need to register for MBA course at the DU college of their choice. Below are the application fee:

- The selection to MBA course will be based on CAT score. The shortlisted candidates will be further called for personal interview round. The university also considers the academic performance of the aspirants in Class 10, Class 12 and graduation.
- Once candidates qualify all the selection rounds, they need to check the merit list. DU releases a merit list announcing the names of selected candidates. You need to pay the course fee to confirm a seat in the university.
DU admission is open. Admission in Delhi University is based on CUET-UG & CUET-PG scores. Below are the upcoming events for DU admission:
- University of Delhi (DU) has released the admission cutoff for 5-yr integrated BA LLB and BBA LLB courses through Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) scores.
- The CUET PG 2026 registration process for admission to PG courses is expected to begin in Jan 2026.
- DU CSAS-PG 2025 Spot Round 3 allocations have been released for admission to various PG courses based on the CUET-PG 2025 scores, and the last date for fee payment is Aug 20, 2025.
At present, DU consists of 80+ departments including North & South campuses. It has 77 affiliated colleges and 5 other institutes with an enrollment of more than 1.3 lakhs regular and 2.6 lakhs non-regular students. Some of the colleges under DU are SRCC, Kirori Mal College, LSR, Hansraj College, Hindu College, Gargi, Sri Venkateshwara College and Miranda House among others. Recognised by UGC as the 'Institute of Excellence', Delhi University is listed among the most prestigious educational institutions in India. The entrance exams accepted by the university include CUET DUET and DU LL.B. Entrance Test among others.

- DU has established strategic ties with universities across the globe, like the University of Leeds in the UK, etc.
CUET UG is compulsory for admission in the affiliated colleges of University of Delhi for UG courses. Delhi University introduced admissions through CUET scores for candidates who seek admission.
Candidates will not be granted admission on the basis of merit of Class 12 There are some percentage criteria required to appear for the CUET exam for Class 12 candidates which is given below:
- Students must have passed Class 12 or appeared in Class 12 from a recognized board in any stream to take admission to bachelor's degree programmes in the central, state, private or deemed universities.
- For the General category, the candidate needs to secure a minimum of 50% in Class 12; for SC/ST, candidates must have secured a minimum of 45% in Class 12 to be eligible for the CUET exam. For BTch programmes, the minimum aggregate for the General category candidates is 45%, and that of the reserved category candidates is 40%.
Morever, candidates who wish to apply for Delhi University must have a valid score in CUET. Undergraduate courses including BCom, BTech, BA, BSc and more are offered by the affiliated colleges.
Yes, it is possible to get in DU without CUET. However, this is not applicable for traditional regular UG courses. For most programmes, the university asks for CUET UG or CUET PG score. For courses, such as MBA and Law programmes, the university also considers other exams. Students can also join DU SOL, NCWEB using Class 12 marks and skipping CUET.

Yes, CAT exam score is compulsory to take admission in MBA programme offered at Delhi University. Delhi University offers MBA through three colleges namely: FMS, DFS, and DBE. DU does not conduct a separate university-level entrance exam for these courses
After the declaration of CUET (UG) results by NTA, the University of Delhi opened a preference-filling phase on its official website. Candidates are required to login on their CSAS (UG) dashboard to choose the courses they are willing to take admission if allocated. Candidates must give their preference for the course + college for every UG course selected by them.
For filling the preferences of course & college combinations in which they are willing to take admission, they must do the following:
- Choose multiple course + college combinations (It is in the best interest of the candidate to fill the maximum number of preferences)
- Take utmost care while selecting the course + college combinations as the order of selection will also determine the preference order.
- Reorder the preferences to prioritize the preference order of course + college combinations
- The submitted preference order will determine the allocation of seat
Candidate must confirm their order of preferences for the course + college combinations by clicking on 'Submit' cutton on/ before the last day of the preference-filling. It is important to note - Editing the course + college combination preference list after the deadline of preference-filling will not be allowed.

SRCC Fees ranges between INR 87,735 to INR 3.2 lakh for the entire tuition fee depending upon the chosen course and specialisation. The total tuition fee for both BA (Hons) & BCom (Hons) is INR 87.73k. For PG Diploma courses, the fee is INR 3.2 lakh.

According to me, if you are getting a seat in DU, choose it as your priority. DU is a better choice in terms of academics and affordable fees.Â
LPU is a good option if you want modern infrastructure, a diverse campus, practical learning, internships, and placement support. But the decision is yours,
