B.Sc. (Hons.) in Home Science - Batch of 2029
Offered by Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi

Supportive women's college in DU with excellent labs, strong faculty, and active activities.
Placements: We actually have five departments in B.Sc. Honours Home Science includes the communication department, the fashion department, the food science department, the resource management department, and the human development department. From my point of view, and the information that I have received from the seniors' communication department, it has very good placements in various sectors. The average salary offered is Rs. 85, 000 per month, which is a very good amount for a fresher to earn.
Infrastructure: The college has a very good infrastructure. I think the campus is spread over around 16.5 acres, and it includes both red buildings and modern facilities. If I talk about the academic infrastructure, then it has numerous classrooms, many of which are good with LCD projectors, Wi-Fi, and their septic classrooms for both UG and PG courses with several dedicated seminar rooms. We also have laboratories that are well-equipped with facilities for practical learning and research. It includes the specialized labs for all 5 departments.
Faculty: The home Science program at Lady Irwin College has faculty members who are highly qualified with M.Sc. or PhD degrees. They have extensive experience from the college itself. They are very helpful, and their teaching is great. If we have any doubt, we can ask them several times, and they will answer us very patiently and very calmly. The examination pattern follows the DU semester system, with final exams held typically in November or December for the odd semesters and May or June for the even semesters.
Other: The crowd at college is generally supportive, non-competitive, and friendly, with a strong focus on both academic and extracurricular activities. It is basically a woman's college that shapes the social dynamics and environment. Students are typically motivated towards subjects like home science, food tech, and nutrition education. Some students are highly ambitious, but others find the environment to be more relaxed. Many students pursue higher studies like B.Ed., M.Sc., or MBA after graduation. College life is often related to highly emphasizing a blend of academic and extracurricular engagement on a beautiful campus.

Amazing experience in the top college of Delhi.
Placements: The placement in my college has not been so great, being a science student. I have not heard much recruitment for various companies for my courses, so I would say this college does. To provide many placements in the stream of Science as an undergraduate student.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure is called our physics. Lab and chemistry labs are kind of good. It has all the equipment, and the classroom is okay. There have been some issues with the setting arrangement, but everything is fine for now.
Faculty: The difficulty of Science is very strict and rigid. They do not know. They do not delay. Any deadline and the assignments and the part of the project files are also very large, so it is kind of hard to tolerate them, and I will suggest that this can be improved.
Other: The crowd is really high. There is nothing that we can say bad about the crowd. All the politics. Selection and fest are good. Still, I am a first-year student. I have enjoyed this time till now.

It is the best college for enjoying college life.
Placements: Regarding placements in Ramjas College, I have not heard much about placements, as there are very few placements on campus. Companies come to college, but the ratio is very low. The package offered is very medium. However, it can be improved.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is okay. The hostel has not yet started. There is a bit of a problem with classes. Classrooms are very small. Some are very large, but there is also a shortage of classrooms, as there are multiple courses and semesters.
Faculty: The security is very approachable. There are a few very kind teachers. Some teachers do not listen to students and do not make any kind of compromises with them. There is good security. But some faculty you may not like.

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics - Batch of 2024
Offered by Hansraj College, University of Delhi

College life is quite fun if you make good friends and try to work upon yourself by yourself.
Placements: There were 20 to 25 students who were offered placements in the first place out of around 120 students of the batch who really worked fairly hard in all their years in the college. 16.5 LPA was the highest package offered, and the lowest went up to 3 to 4 LPA. Companies like Deloitte, Infosys, and mostly service-based companies offered the packages. There were people who were offered roles irrespective of their core subject. Very few people managed to grab internships within the campus. Top roles were mostly for auditors, sales, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities like infrastructure, library, and classes were average and not up to the mark. There was Wi-Fi in the library and at some other places. The hostel accommodation was limited and only for girls who were outside of Delhi. Sports facilities were very average.
Faculty: Twenty percent of teachers were very qualified and well articulate in their expression of teaching, but most of the faculty was not. The course curriculum is outdated and not fully industry-ready. Semester exams are not tough and are easily manageable in a very small amount of time.

For bachelor's degrees, this college is nice.
Placements: There is a placement cell (E cell), but honestly, expecting a placement from college is like witnessing the moon on earth in the Chemistry department. Professors will surely guide you for future options, advise you for further studies, but there will be no placement from the college.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is nice. Having 4 different buildings, arts block, science block, new block and administration with library building. The college has a decent-sized ground for cricket, volleyball, badminton and others. Overall, it is like it ended as soon as it started.
Faculty: Faculty members are very nice in all departments, well educated, and they also give lectures. The curriculum is all Delhi University-based. And exams are conducted by DU itself, so everything is on time. In labs, you may find a shortage of some equipment, but overall, everything is fine in this scenario.

Delhi College of Arts and Commerce review.
Placements: The college does offer campus placements with top recruiters, often including companies such as KPMG, EY, Wipro, Airtel, etc. But, these companies usually hire students from commerce-based courses such as B.Com (Hons), etc. B.A. course students generally do not get any campus placement (apart from B.A. Economics Hons), and they often go for higher education.
Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure is not very good. Though it is a Wi-Fi-enabled campus, the classrooms are very up to the mark. Also, there are labs in the college, but not with the latest technology. The college does not have a hostel. The college canteen is very small, and the food is quite mediocre as well.
Faculty: The faculty of my course is very helpful and knowledgeable. Be it the faculty of Economics or Human Resource Management, the teachers are very helpful. Though some students find some of the subjects not worth studying, the overall course curriculum is quite structured and well-maintained.
Other: I chose my course because of my keen interest in economics and HRM. The best thing about my course is definitely the faculty teaching it. The college does not really organize big events, but academically, the college is very good.
