Delhi University has active and dedicated Centralised Placement Cell (CPC) that facilitates all types of placement-related activities. DU students registered with CPC get placement assistance, employment counselling and entrepreneurship training as well. The CPC also organises workshops and seminars on present-day industry needs for students to become successful professionals.
DU placement process is conducted through Centralized Placement Cell and Department Placement Cell, which varies from college to college. Meanwhile, the peak placement period is between August and December. However, it may vary depending upon the college and department. As per the annual report 2024, 15373 students applied for placement 2024 and 1766 students were placed. DU Placement Report 2025
As per the Delhi University annual report 2023-24, a total of 15373 students applied for placement and 1766 students were placed during the 2024 placement drive.
The 2025 placement data for top DU college has been released. The highest and average package offered during Miranda House placements 2025 stood at INR 19 LPA and INR 7.6 LPA, respectively. The median package offered was INR 7 LPA.
The highest and average package offered to Kirori Mal College students in 2025 was INR 24.8 LPA and INR 10.8 LPA. Over 155 recruiters visited the campus and more than 100 students were placed during Kirori Mal College placements 2025.
Over 520 offers were made during SRCC placements 2025. The highest and average salaries stood at INR 36 LPA and INR 9.9 LPA, respectively. The median salary offered was INR 7.7 LPA. The college witnessed the participation of over 115 recruiters.
Talking about the highest package offered at Lady Shri Ram College for Women was INR 45 LPA. The 2025 placement data for Jesus & Mary College and Gargi College has not been released. In 2024, the highest salary offered was INR 23.05 LPA and INR 21.05 LPA, respectively.
