Average campus, fun societies, great faculty, smooth 2nd-year migration.
Placements: Some people from my college take placements, but most of the placements are for Marketing and Sales. So none of my classmates accept any offers since we are from a computer background. You have to find and apply for internships yourself, as the college does not provide much accommodation for this.
Infrastructure: The college has fully AC computer labs with i7 systems. A library stocked with books ranging from literature and psychology to coding. However, it lacks hostel facilities. The college also has a fully air-conditioned reading room. Where you can study in peace and prepare for any competitive exam.
Faculty: Faculty of this department is great. I’m from the first NEP batch. The start wasn’t smooth, but now the curriculum is well-structured and everything is running fine. The semester exams are of medium difficulty. You can clear the exams in two days. If you want great or good marks, you must focus in class and show yourself to the teachers, as they give internal marks (teachers’ pet).

I would like to read my college, particularly the mind apartments, 7 out of 10.
Placements: Cutoffs were quite high as it's north campus. Most of the students don't do not go for placements and often go for M.Sc. because at B.Sc. level there are many packages. So after doing M.Sc. most of the students pursue Ph.D. or then they go for scientist or research jobs.
Infrastructure: Labs are very good, classrooms are good but do not have AC, library facility is also good. Canteen is normal, like it is normal, like a canteen, do not expect much tasty food. We have a sports complex and two big sports grounds and many gardens in college.
Faculty: All of the teachers are very highly qualified, some of the teachers have studied at foreign universities like Stanford and Oxford, but some teachers still do not know how to teach. Like they have knowledge but they do not know how to transfer it to students. Semester exams are normal and the passing criteria is 66%.

    The infrastructure is very good.
Placements: In my course, mostly students pursue a master's degree, they do not get placement, and average package is about 2-3 LPA, but in other courses, placement package are going to 8 to 9 LPA and it is average package in our college. Placement cell works very well.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi, campus clean and RO water, well mentioned laboratory and well maintained library, overall infrastructure are very good. In our college campus greenery are present, water supply is very good and best faculty, everything is very good in our college.
Faculty: Shyam Lal College comes under University of Delhi, so its exam pattern is very good and it's helpful in our daily life and knowledge. Our college and its study curriculum is designed to enhance our knowledge and our character, also, and it includes both practical and theoretical learning.

A very decent college. If you're taking admission in this college, don't have high hopes with it.
Placements: The placement faculty is bad, as what I have heard until now. You might get placement, but the package will be very low. The highest package that you might grab from here might be less than the average package of some colleges. Well, to be honest, placement totally depends on the student's capability.
Infrastructure: Classrooms aren't that big, in fact, the university isn't this big, and also they don't provide hostels. You need to find your accommodation yourself, but the best part of the college is their library. There are tons of books in the library. Classes don't have AC, but the library does have it.
Faculty: Teachers are average. Some of them are very friendly with the students, while the rest of them don't seem to care much. Some of the teachers are very supportive. Well, there is no doubt all of them are very qualified. But the teaching style of each teacher is very different.
Other: From what I have heard, there are definitely more colleges in DU with lower fees. About the crowd, I don't like the crowd of this college, apart from the people who are involved in societies.

This is the best college for the B.Sc. course.
Placements: Most of the placements are for B.Com Honours and BMS courses, while the education quality is best for B.Sc. courses.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. The campus infrastructure is in two forms, Port Cabins (Temporary rooms), which are 35 in number, and the main building, which has 3 floors with a computer lab and good washrooms on each floor. Cleanliness is top-notch. The computer labs, a small auditorium, and 2 classrooms are AC-equipped.
Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful and supportive, with special knowledge in their respective areas of expertise. The Statistics faculty is one of the best faculties, even in comparison with any famous college of the University of Delhi. Regular tests and assessment are conducted and evaluated in the best possible way. All strong areas and weak points are shown to the students in order to improve them.

Overall college is good. You can have good exposure and they have strong Alumni network.
Placements: Cybersecurity related roles. Software engineer roles and analyst positions. Internship is solely depends on the students. If they have skills, they will get an internship. College will try to help in that. They have off campus placements mostly. There strong Alumni network helps a lot.
Infrastructure: Fully Air conditioned facility and Wi-Fi network are good. We don't have hostel. Canteen food is average. Medical facilities is good. Many Sports and games are available. My course is overall good. Sometimes it gets tough, you'll have atleast one tougher subject than other 2 core subjects in each semester, but you'll get that.
Faculty: Difficult depends on students. Teachers are helpful. They will provide every study material and if you need help, they will try to help. Sometimes I think course curriculum is not relevant but the course solely wants to teach many stuff and we have to choose what we want to continue, they'll provide a starting point for that and rest ups to you.
Other: I just had a keen interest. So I chose this course. B.Sc. curriculum try to teach many stuff rather than fixated on a single concept which can be mess sometimes. While I agree that computer Science is a vast course but still, there's many aspects to improve it. Events and fest are great. They provide scholarship on the basis of your academic. While it can also depend on sports. If your team got a rank in major sports competition, they will give scholarship .
