Students can get admission in BSc at DU colleges with a valid score of CUET-UG. Delhi University course admission starts with CUET registration, followed by result declaration, DU CSAS registration, college and course allotment, and fee payment. 4. DU CSAS Counselling Process

Before the CUET counselling process for DU will even begin, it is necessary that aspirants opt for DU during CUET form filling and later apply on the CSAS portal to be eligible for admission. The admission process after CUET result declaration is explained below:
Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases.
Step 2: Submit College + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard.
Step 3: The University has released the dates for three DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists for all categories.
- The "freeze" option in seat allocation for CSAS (DU) is to be selected by the students to confirm their admission choice to the allocated college and course at DU.
- If candidates are happy with the assigned college and course, they can freeze the request through their dashboard.
- Once they select this option, they will not be considered for "upgradation" of choice in further rounds of CSAS.
- Candidates must only select this option only if they are satisfied with the allocated seat and want to take admission to this course & college
- If they do not choose to upgrade or freeze your admission, their current status will be maintained.
Step 4: Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the concerned college will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student basis the verification.
Step 5: Once the DU-affiliated college accords the approval, candidates will have to pay the 'Admission Fee' to confirm their seat.
On the basis of the availability of seats due to rejections, cancellations, and withdrawals, DU may announce multiple allocation rounds. The University of Delhi will display the vacant seats on its admission website (admission.uod.ac.in) before every allocation round.

DU University registrations via CUET usually begins in February every year. Soon after the release of the notification, the CUET application process commences online. Candidates willing to appear for CUET exam must ensure to fill out the application form online when released. Yes, DU provides good placements to its students annually. Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) has placed 1,095 students of batch 2026 with an average package of INR 13.79 LPA. Students from Hansraj College secured 130 job offers with an average package of INR 9.6 LPA. Median package recorded at INR 8.4 LPA. Highest package of Delhi University (FMS Delhi) recorded in 2026 stood at INR 1.1 Cr per annum. SRCC and LSR students achieved this highest package of INR 36.25 LPA.
The number of students placed during the DU placements 2026 are not out yet. However, so far 1095 SRCC students were placed in the 2026 placement season. Additionally, the number of offers provided to Hansraj and LSR students was 130 and more than 160.
DU is considered one of the most competitive universities in India for Commerce, Science and Arts education at the undergraduate level. The university and its affiliated colleges was attracting the cream layer of crowd till the time admission was subject to Class 12 scores. While reserved category candidates still had minor chances of getting into a not-so-popular course of DU with 60% in Class 12, a General category student with 60% had no chance of getting into any good college or course at DU.
However, starting 2022, DU admission process has shifted to CUET-UG based admission process. DU registrations via CUET 2023 for UG programmes began on Feb 10, 2023 and were open till Mar 30, 2023. Additionally, for admission to PG courses, DU CUET-PG registrations for the 2023 session started on Mar 20 and were open till May 5. Interested candidates were able to apply online on the official website of CUET UG and CUET PG.
Followed by the application forms of CUET UG and CUET PG, DU has already started the DU CSAS registration for final college and course allotment of students who qualified the CUET UG exam. The process will begin soon for CUET PG qualifiers as well.

Honestly, both DU and LPU have their own advantages, but I'd definitely consider LPU for law. I studied MBA at LPU, and one thing I liked was the overall campus environment, the approachable faculty, and the exposure you get by interacting with people from different backgrounds.
