Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) (Part Time)

A candidate working at a research center recognized by the University, regular/contractual faculty members of this University/employees working in Govt/ Govt aided/ Private Engineering Colleges/ Universities/ Industries/ Public sector organizations shall be considered for the admission under this category if their Organization is situated within 100 km distance from HBTU Kanpur. All such candidates have to submit No-Objection Certificate from their employees at the time of interview. Note: 1.Candidates of U.P. domicile only are eligible for admission 2. Candidates with a valid UGC-NET / CSIR-NET scorecard with UGC / CSIR Fellowship (JRF) for Ph.D. will be preferred and they will not be required to appear in the Written Examination. 3. Eligible faculty / staff members of the University shall be treated as Part-Time students.
