I am pretty happy with my hostel life but not with the college. It is decent.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of the course and department are average not so great not so bad. There is Wi-Fi all over campus in labs, classrooms, and the library. As this college is very old. It has been more than 100 years. Don't expect great infrastructure at this college. Hostels are decent, Wi-Fi is available, and hygiene is maintained in the hostels.

Good college and decent placement.

Infrastructure: Not so very good hostels, especially the boys' hostel are okayish and not too shabby, but I want to mention one incident which took place in Ambedkar hostel, where the chef was washing potatoes with his feet and had slippers on, so not so good but okayish.

Oil Technology don't include mineral oils and gases in HBTU.

Infrastructure: The college is equipped with Wi-Fi, advanced labs, and a vast library that has books that are almost 100 years old to the latest journals, research papers, and e-books. For oil, there are 3 labs (one for UG, one for PG, and one for advanced research and Ph.D.). The lab has some of the most advanced equipment in the field of oil, and even samples from IIT come to HBTU for testing in the field of oil. The campus has an infirmary for any medical issues, where a doctor is available 7 days a week, an...

College is very good and has a powerful alumni network.

Infrastructure: As we know, the college is very old thus the infrastructure is also very old but it gives chills too. The hostel is in bad condition. The mess food is below average for the first-year students. Water quality is bad as of now. Wi-Fi is available, which gives 8 GB per student per day but it is very slow.

Average campus. Placements are excellent for technology & core branches, but average for CS and IT.

Infrastructure: Currently, IT does not have its own department. First-year classes are held in the lecture hall complex. While second- and third-year classes are in the main building. Classroom infrastructure is average, with some air-conditioned rooms. Fourth-year classes are held in the Computer Science department, whose infrastructure is below average. A new extension for the CS department is being built, which will also accommodate IT students. Overall, the college infrastructure is average, similar to most...

My hbtu 3 years journey.

Infrastructure: The boys hostel is not too satisfying in terms of cleaning and the infrastructure is also not too good but the greenery is good in the college. The campus is too big and the boys hostel provides very limited restriction so students can do many extracurricular activities.

The college is decent best.

Infrastructure: HBTU has two campuses: East Campus and West Campus. The East Campus has two boys’ hostels for first-year students and a girls’ hostel for each year. The West Campus has hostels only for boys of 2nd, 3rd, and final year, Shatabdi Bhavan for cultural events, a cricket ground, a gymnasium, and other facilities. However, the condition of the hostel rooms is not of a very high standard. The hostels accommodate single, double, and three-seater rooms.

The underrated college with a great scope of improvement and decent placement.

Infrastructure: The classes are spacious and well-ventilated with ACs. The library is huge, with over 1 lakh books. HBTU also has multiple canteens across the campus, offering plenty of spots to explore and hang out, making the overall campus experience lively and enjoyable.

College is good in academics and also in extracurricular activities.

Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are so good, while the campus is fine, and libraries are so good. About 1 lakh books are available in the college, which is a good facility in the hostel, and the seniors are very supportive in the college, so the academics are going smoothly.

Good college like in placements, course, alumni network.

Infrastructure: The campus life is not that much good as compared to other colleges, and the location of the college is also a negative side. Hostel life is good until unless you are in East campus (where all the academic and administrative buildings are present). According to me, it’s better to take private hostel than choosing West campus hostel like Ambedkar and Aryabhatt in 1st year.

Absolutely worthy to join this college as it has a nice network.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good and present all over campus. Food is good, and we can decide the menu by talking to our mess secretary. We can also add or subtract food items from the menu if people agree with us. The canteen is average, as we get normal things like samosas and parathas.

Chemical/CT at HBTU is worth it, strong academics and consistently solid placements.

Infrastructure: The campus is decent but mostly old. Buildings are functional, not modern. Labs are mixed, some are updated, while some are outdated. The hostel is basic with average maintenance; rooms are simple, and the mess food is consistent. Overall, it is a workable environment, but don’t expect premium facilities.

The best college in Uttar Pradesh after the IIT.

Infrastructure: There are several facilities in the hostels. There are separate hostels for girls and boys, in which facilities of mess and very variety of food and cultural diversity are also seen. Many students in Kanpur are from Kanpur itself as it offers a very good rate of interest to students.

Review of HBTU (one of the top state universities).

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my department is quite old and needs renovation. Wi-Fi is available with good speed throughout the campus. If I talk about the library, it is well-maintained and you can get almost all books and journals from here. The quality of rooms in the hostel is average, and you'll get double and triply seated rooms in 1st, 2nd and 3rd year, while in the final year, you will get a personal single room for sure. The quality of the mess food is average, but it degrades as time passes.

HBTU is a decent college with a long history and also good recognition in Uttar Pradesh.

Infrastructure: Library in HBTU is very nice. Fully air-conditioned and have the best infrastructure. But the infrastructure of hostels on the East Campus is old. It needs yearly maintenance however, the West campus is a perfect example of good infrastructure. There are several auditoriums in college and multiple grounds for sports and physical activities.
