Applicants must have passed Master's degree in a relevant discipline / subject with the mentioned percentage of marks or equivalent CGPA. Applicants of U.P. domicile only are eligible for admission. Applicants with a valid UGC-NET / CSIR-NET scorecard with UGC / CSIR Fellowship (JRF) for Ph.D. will be preferred and they will not be required to appear in the Written Examination. Applicants who have been awarded grades in the qualifying examinations are required to present a conversion formula for the equivalent percentage of marks from the Institute. In absence of such a conversion formula, the decision taken by the Admission Committee will be final. The qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates must have been scored without grace marks.
