Candidate must have passed diploma in civil engineering from a recognized University with 40% marks for SC/ST; 45% for SEBC and 50% for open at the final year and must have minimum full time recognized industrial or working experience in an organization of repute after passing the Diploma examination in the field in which admission is sought, of which at least last one year full time working experience should be in or around Vadodara within 30 km. radius from the Faculty of Technology and Engg. Premises. (Apprentice experience will not be considered). Candidates shall not be considered eligible for admission those who have passed their diploma examination in distance learning mode.

Good academics+ best college life = MSU.
Placements: In our civil engineering department, about 26-30 students get placed every year. The highest package offered by TCE ( Tata consultancy engineering) is of about 5 LPA. There are other renowned companies like SPCL, Essar, TCS, L&T, Infosys, and some other local companies which recruits students. The only problem here is that students leave the job for higher-studies or some other reasons, so the numbers could be changed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average. The main building was constructed by Maharaja Sayajirao. So, it is old, but it is historic. Labs are okay like any other government colleges. One can enjoy hanging around the campus. Canteens are the best place for fun especially, the arts canteen. Our university has the best library in Gujarat, may be in India it also has a very good amount of online content for studies and research.
Faculty: Our university is a deemed university, so it has its own syllabus for each department. The syllabus and teaching methods are at mostly as per modern need. We have faculty members from IITs and NITs, and they have many years of experience. Faculty members are very supportive if you have interest in the subject and they give us the best knowledge. Our faculty and university are ranked in top 100 many times by national institute of ranking federation (NIRF) and in Gujarat, it is the best semi-government university.
Other: Our college has the best events in Gujarat. We organise 4 regular events in our college Prerna, Paramarsh, Junoon, and Footprints. We also enjoy the celebration of days and mass bunks also. In our university, students also organise many events like BBA, Bazzigar, Sayaji literature festival, youth festival, concerts, etc., and we have also student elections. If you want to enjoy the college life, it could be the best place. Also if you want the best academic career along with enjoyment, this could be the place for you.

The best faculty with more freedom of study.
Placements: The placements are the best in this college. Almost 60% of students were placed every year in all fields. The minimum package starts from 1.25 lakhs per annum to maximum of 12 lakhs per annum. The companies coming for placements are L&T, Linde, Tata, Adani, SPCL, Cube, Geo, Krunal, Mahindra, etc.
Infrastructure: There is a free wifi service with good internet speed on the campus. The best part of the campus is its library. The labs are clean and good with all facilities. The classrooms are big, good enough, and smart. The canteen is very good with quality food. Medical facilities are also available there for students.
Faculty: The teaching staff of the college is the best. The teachers are very qualified, with the best teaching method. Their unique teaching method separates them from other colleges teaching staff. The ratio of students per teacher is almost 40 students per teacher. They are very knowledgeable in their subjects.
