Established in 1881, Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda is an open university, which was initially known as Baroda College. Founded by Maharaja Pratap Singh Rao Gaekwad, it was granted the status of a university in 1949. The main building, Faculty of Arts is designed in the Indo-Saracenic style by the famous architect, Robert Fellowes Chisholm. The university began its first class with Arts and Science Departments.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria for UG and PG courses

The official timings are as given below:
Weekdays: 6:15PM - 8:45PM (One class per day)
Saturdays: 3:30PM - 6:00PM (Class 1); 6:15PM - 8:45PM (Class 2)
In all, you attend 7 lectures per week (one lecture per subject) and each lecture is 150 minutes long.
