GUJCET counselling 2022 has started. The last date to register for GUJCET 2022 counselling has been extended to July 18. Candidates need to register online on the ACPC website to participate in the counselling process. Choice filling for the counselling will start on July 26.
The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) will conduct the GUJCET counselling and seat allotment process in two rounds- one for GUJCET candidates and the other for JEE Main candidates. The detailed schedule of all GUJCET 2022 counselling dates can be checked here.
GUJCET 2022 exam was conducted on April 18. The exam was held in all districts of Gujarat in two shifts from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in offline mode as a Pen-Paper based test. What's New in GUJCET 2022 Exam?
As per the official announcement from the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, two new changes have been brought in GUJCET 2022. They are as follows:
- Marks in subjects other than Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in class 12 will also be considered for preparing the GUJCET 2022 merit list.
- Out of the total seats in government colleges, 5 per cent of seats will be filled through JEE Main 2022 score while the remaining 95 per cent of seats will be filled through GUJCET 2022

What is GUJCET Exam?
Gujarat Common Entrance Test, also known as GUJCET is the exam conducted to shortlist candidates for admission to undergraduate Engineering and Pharmacy courses in the state. The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board conduct the GUJCET exam every year. Admission to UG Engineering programs in the state government and private/self-financed institutes of Gujarat is given through GUJCET.

The Admission Committee for Professional Courses has started the GUJCET counselling 2022. Registration for GUJCET counselling is open up to July 18. The counselling will be conducted in two rounds. GUJCET 2022 Application Form
The GSEB closed the GUJCET application form 2022 on February 9. The application forms were available online on the official website gujcet.gseb.org. The last date to fill the application form for GUJCET 2022 was February 5 which was extended till February 9.
The application process of GUJCET 2022 includes registration, filling the form, uploading scanned images, and payment of application fees. Candidates have to register themselves first and then they can fill the GUJCET form 2022. Subsequently, pay the requisite fee online. Candidates who register within the specified dates will be issued GUJCET 2022 admit cards to appear in the exam.
GUJCET 2022 Application Form Correction
The facility of application form correction has been started on April 14. All registered candidates who wish to make any changes in their application form need to fill the correction form available in the information bulletin and also on the GSEB website. The filled form has to be sent by post or by visiting to the GUJCET Cell Gandhinagar on or before April 18. The address of sending the GJCET correction form is given here:

GUJCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for GUJCET 2022 must ensure they fulfil the minimum eligibility condition required for appearing in the exam and admission thereon. Candidates who do not fulfil the GUJCET eligibility criteria 2022 will not be considered for admission. Read GUJCET eligibility criteria below:
- Candidates should be Indian and possess a Gujarat domicile
- The age of the candidates should not be less than 17 years
- Candidates who have passed or appeared in the Class 12 exam or any equivalent exam from a recognized Board are eligible
- Candidates should have secured 45% (40% for reserved category candidates) in Class 12 with PCM as the main subject or any equivalent exam
GUJCET 2022 Syllabus
The GSEB has released the GUJCET syllabus 2022. GUJCET syllabus encompasses all the topics of classes 11 and 12 from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics that are covered in the examination. Candidates should make their preparation strategy keeping the GUJCET 2022 syllabus in their mind. To qualify the examination, candidates should complete the entire syllabus and solve the previous year's papers. The syllabus incorporates most of the chapters of Class 11 and Class 12.

GUJCET 2022 Exam Pattern
The GSEB will release the GUJCET exam pattern along with the information brochure. Understanding of GUJCET exam pattern 2022 will impart information about the total number of questions, marking scheme, exam duration, etc. The GUJCET question paper shall comprise of three sections namely Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each section will have 40 questions. For each correct answer, 01 mark will be awarded whereas for each incorrect answer 0.25 marks will be deducted.

GUJCET Admit Card 2022
The GSEB released the GUJCET 2022 admit card on April 8. Admit cards are available for download online on the GUJCET website. Candidates have to download their admit cards by login into the website using their application number and password. Without GUJCET 2022 admit card, no candidate can ingress inside the examination hall. After the exam, candidates must preserve the admit card until the admission process completes successfully.
GUJCET 2022 Question Paper
The GSEB will release the GUJCET question paper 2022 on the official website after the conclusion of the exam. As the GUJCET 2022 exam will be held in offline mode, the candidates who will appear in the paper will get the question papers that they can take with them. Candidates can check GUJCET previous year papers to understand the difficulty level of the exam and subject-wise difficulty level. GUJCET 2021 question papers as well as various previous year papers can be used as mock test papers to analyze the preparation for the exam.

GUJCET 2022 Answer Key
The GSEB released the provisional GUJCET answer key 2022 on April 28. GUJCET provisional answer key was open for the challenge up to April 30. Candidates not satisfied with the provisional GUJCET answer key 2022 could challenge the same online by sending the challenge form to gujcetkey2022@gmail.com. The GSEB will review the challenges post which the GUJCET final answer key will be released. Using the answer key, candidates will be able to calculate their marks as well as rank. The unofficial answer key has also been released by coaching institutes.
GUJCET 2022 Result
The GSEB announced the GUJCET result 2022 on May 12 after 10 AM. GUJCET result is available online on the official website result.gseb.org. Candidates have to use their login details i.e. seat number to access their GUJCET 2022 result as well as OMR copy. Details of candidates' scores in Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology will be mentioned in the GUJCET scorecard. Candidates who will qualify the exam will be eligible for admission to the participating institutes.
