Admission to all the BTech courses is subject to JEE Main scores and Class 12 scores(given equal weightage) for 50% of the seats and is subject to Class 12 scores for the remaining 50% of the seats. If a student has appeared for JEE Main then they need to apply under stream 1 of admission. Sastra University has age restriction for UG applications which should not have completed 19 years as on 01/08/26. For lateral entry programmes, the applicant should not have completed 21 years as on 01/08/26.

The School has not released the placement percentage. However, the sector-wise distribution for placements 2024 is out. A large share (55%) of students were placed in Law Firms during KPMSOL placements 2024.
