Earlier, SASTRA University application process was conducted in both online and offline modes. However, 2022 onwards, the process has shifted completely to online mode.

• Aspirants seeking admission can visit the official website of the deemed university, apply online and pay the application fee.
• Further, they have to go through the selection rounds and counselling process and then confirm their seat on payment of the admission tuition fee.

Admission to SASTRA University is based on entrance exams. The institute accepts admisison through national entrance exams like JEE Main, CLAT, GATE, CAT, XAT, AIMAT, CMAT, and others.

Students looking for admission at SASTRA University, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the university. For UG courses, students must complete Class 12, and for PG courses, students must complete graduation. For eg, students looking for BTech first year admission must complete Class 12 with 60% aggregate.

The SASTRA University average package has not been disclosed officially. Looking at the median package, an improving trend was observed in the BTech and BA LLB/ BCom LLB/ BBA LLB courses. Admission to all the BTech courses is subject to JEE Main scores and Class 12 scores(given equal weightage) for 50% of the seats and is subject to Class 12 scores for the remaining 50% of the seats. However, as per the official website, there is no fixed or specific cutoff to get a seat here. It depends on the students who score the highest marks. If a student has appeared for JEE Main then they need to apply under stream 1 of admission. Additionally, as per the data available on the internet, if a student has a score of 90-95% in Class 12 and 50-120 in JEE Main, there is a high possibility of getting admission.

Candidates seeking admission at SASTRA University must complete their application process within the given time frame.
