SASTRA University usually concludes the application for most of its courses between April and August. Candidates seeking admission at SASTRA University must complete their application process within the given time frame. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria for the programme they have applied for will be shortlisted for further admission rounds followed by document verification and fee payment leading to final seat allotment.
The students who want to get admission into the MBA course at SASTRA University must complete their UG degree with minimum 50% marks. The university accepts TANCENT exam for admissions. Alternatively, students can also get MBA admission on the basis of CAT, XAT, CMAT, and AIMCAT scores.

SASTRA University MBA admission is based on a national-level entrance exams followed by a Personal Interview (PI) conducted by the university. Stream 1: JEE Mains + Class 12 marks (50% weightage given to each), for admission to 50% of the total seats

The School has not released the placement percentage. However, the sector-wise distribution for placements 2024 is out. A large share (55%) of students were placed in Law Firms during KPMSOL placements 2024.
