A college with below-average placements, suitable only for students who just want to study all day.

Faculty: Faculty members are very strict and are not supportive. Some of them are biased and do not prepare students for placements. Proper guidance for semester examinations is also not provided. There are three internal exams per semester, which are really unnecessary and time-consuming for students.

It is a good MBA course with decent faculty and a campus life.

Faculty: Faculty members are friendly and helpful to students. Most teachers explain subjects clearly and support students during projects and presentations. The MBA curriculum is relevant and includes practical topics. Semester exams are manageable if students study regularly.

I have the best experience at the college.

Faculty: Teachers support all students a lot by providing good guidance. Seniors will guide juniors in all possible ways. The good thing about Sastra is that it values every student without trouble. At times, the higher officials will not support parents and pull them into everything.

Dissatisfied with placements and training, but satisfied with infrastructure and professors.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is quite good. However, this course is now not considered relevant. It has been removed for the 2028 batch of students. The semester exams are easy. Student can score a good GPA by studying one day before the exam. Pass percentage is around 98 percent.

Actually, the college is improving in various parts. In the placement part, the count is increasing.

Faculty: The faculty will be very good and helpful. The course teaching is enough to clear the GATE exam. Semester exams will be a little difficult, but the overall pass percentage is above average. Whatever doubt you have, you can contact the faculty; each student will have separate mentors.

There is good infrastructure, professors, and machinery.

Faculty: Not everyone, but most of the teachers are highly qualified. We can join under any professor for research because many of them are working and searching under a specific domain. Only particular schools like electronics, electrical, mechanical, and computer.

The college is good, affordable, with good infrastructure and placement opportunities.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good and well-mannered. The college curriculum is very relevant for today’s education. The mid and semester exams are difficult and hard to score high marks.

I suggest students take admission if they are not getting into the top government colleges.

Faculty: Teaching quality is very good, even though some of them compare this college with some NITs. The exam rules are too strict. If we are caught while cheating, they will put 0 for all subjects in internals. The weightage of internal is 50 percent on our result. The pass percentage is 50 percent.

This college is only for studying, there is no full college life.

Faculty: The course is well defined, as I said before, they say and mention it on their website as the course B.Sc. Microbiology is with DMLT, but it is not included. Other than DMLT, it is okay. The curriculum is related, and it is kind of relatable. Semester exams are easy to moderate.

I like my college much because everything goes well on campus and in my department.

Faculty: Teachers were well-qualified with experience for the courses and scores. In our college, enough curriculum activities were provided. Our department provided enough knowledge to students to be industry-ready. Exams were difficult because they gave more problem-solving skills. Above 50% is the pass percentage.

It is a college that gives life.

Faculty: There are three midterms, which are hectic. Professors are very experienced. Exams are rigorous, involving internal assessments and end-of-semester tests. Selection is typically based on merit in the JEE and intermediate examinations.

Best for students' careers.

Faculty: Most of the faculty are IIT graduates with Ph.D. and also with several projects. They have a clear understanding of the industry and future demand, and they train students based on that demand. Exams are difficult only when compared to other universities, and paper evaluation is also not strict, and the faculty are so friendly. They will help you with doubts anytime.

It’s overhyped, but still better than other colleges in our state.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified enough, but the curriculum they are following is too old and not sufficient to compete in the present advanced world. I hope they will rectify this and use a better curriculum. The subjects they are following in the very first year are almost useless and senseless. They can provide the respective branch core or the basic required skills for students.

SASTRA University life is amazing where we can meet people from various parts.

Faculty: We can get good internals with a well-planned study. We could score easily. Exams are easy. If we study with a good plan and strategy, internals will help in boosting our CGPA. Exams are probably 70 percent, easy to pass. Faculty members are so supportive in scoring well, making the concept understandable.

I am absolutely satisfied with the placements in our college last year and about the faculty.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-equipped with skills and technology. The curriculum followed in our college is very useful and helpful for students to gain knowledge. The system followed in our college is semester exam system, and exams are held as per semester.
