Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must complete their Class 12 with an aggregate of 60% in Class 12. Moreover, a candidate myst have studied Mathematics and Physics as their compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Biology as optional subject. Moreover, applicants without Mathematics in Class 12 are eligible to apply for BTech in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics & Bioengineering and BTech + MTech integrated programmes.
Selection Process: Admission to 50% of seats is based on normalised aggregate scores of Class 12 and JEE Main, with 50% weightage to each.

Step 1.4: Pay the SASTRA University BTech application fee.
Step 2: Counselling & Seat Allotment
50% of the seats are allotted based on the ranks obtained by the applicants in the JEE Main exam. For the remaining 50%, seats are allocated through the SASTRA University counselling. Furthermore, as per the achieved scores of applicants, the university releases the merit list/ cutoff list of shortlisted applicants.
