Tamil Nadu 12th Result 2025 was released on May 8, 2025. Students not satisfied by TN 12th result 2025 will be able to apply for revaluation, retotaling and photocopy of answer sheet.

TN 12th result 2025: The Directorate of General Education, Tamil Nadu (TNDGE) announced the TN 12th result 2025 on May 8, 2025. 12th result 2025 Tamil Nadu is released on the official website - tnresults.nic.in. Those who are not satisfied with the TN HSC result 2025 can apply for revaluation, retotaling and scanned copy of answer sheet. As per TN 12th dates 2025, the board exams were held from March 3 to March 25, 2024.

Students have to apply for 12th result 2025 Tamil Nadu Re-evaluation, retotaing and Photo copy of answer sheets within 5 days after the release of the TN 12th result 2024. They have to apply and pay the required fees though their schools.

Tamil Nadu 12th result 2026 will be released in May 2026. Students can check the TN 12th result 2026 on the official website -tnresults.nic.in. They have to enter roll number and date of birth to check the Tamil Nadu Class 12 result 2026. Students are advised to keep their admit cards handy to check the TN 12th result 2026. Q:   What is the grading criteria of Tamil Nadu 12th result?
A:

A1 grade is awarded to those who score 91 to 100 marks. A grade is awarded to those who score 81 to 90 marks. B1 grade is given to those who score 71 to 80 marks. B grade is given to those who score 61 to 70 marks. Those who score less than 35 marks are considered as failed.

Students can check the TN HSC result 2026 by entering the date of birth and registration number through the official website of the state board tnresults.nic.in, dge1.tn.nic.in, dge2.tn.nic.in and dge.tn.gov.in. They can also access Tamil Nadu 12th result 2026 through SMS. They can also check TN 12th public exam result 2026 via mobile application. 

Those who are not satisfied with their TN 12th result 2025 can apply for the re-evaluation of their TN 12th result. Regular students can apply for re-evaluation of Tamil Nadu class 12 result 2025 for all subjects through their respective schools. The application fee for Re-evaluation of Tamil Nadu HSC result is INR 505 per subject. It will take 10 to 15 days to process the revaluation request.

TN 12th Result 2025: Re-totaling of Marks

  • During re-totalling, the marks are re-calculated. If any answer is left unchecked earlier then the same is checked and marks will be awarded.
  • The application fee for re-totalling of Tamil Nadu board 12th result 2025 is INR 205 per subject while it is INR 305 for subjects comprising two papers.

To get the scanned copy of answer sheets, students must apply through their respective school or exam centre. They are required to pay INR 275 per paper in cash. They will be able to download the scanned copy of the answer script by entering the registration number and date of birth online.

Students willing to apply for Tamil Nadu 12th Result 2025 re-evaluation, retotaling or photocopy of answersheet have to pay the application fees given below:

  • INR 500 for revaluation per paper
  • INR 275 for photocopy
  • INR 205 for Retotaling

Schools do not have the right to withhold admit card of the studnets for TN class 12th board exam. TN 12th admit card is issued by the Directorate of Government Examination, Tamilnadu. You can reach out to the TN board, if the school do not provide the admit card.
