TN 12th result 2026: The Directorate of General Education, Tamil Nadu (TNDGE) will announce the TN 12th result 2026 on May 8, 2026 tentatively. 12th result 2026 Tamil Nadu will be released on the official website - tnresults.nic.in. Those who are not satisfied with the TN HSC result 2026 can apply for revaluation, retotaling and scanned copy of answer sheet. As per TN 12th dates 2026, the board exams were held from March 2 to March 24, 2026.

Students have to apply for 12th result 2026 Tamil Nadu Re-evaluation, retotaing and Photo copy of answer sheets within 5 days after the release of the TN 12th result 2026. They have to apply and pay the required fees though their schools.

12th result 2026 Tamil Nadu: Re-evaluation

Those who are not satisfied with their TN 12th result 2026 can apply for the re-evaluation of their TN 12th result. Regular students can apply for re-evaluation of Tamil Nadu class 12 result 2026 for all subjects through their respective schools. The application fee for Re-evaluation of Tamil Nadu HSC result is INR 505 per subject. It will take 10 to 15 days to process the revaluation request.

TN 12th Result 2026: Re-totaling of Marks

  • During re-totalling, the marks are re-calculated. If any answer is left unchecked earlier then the same is checked and marks will be awarded.
  • The application fee for re-totalling of Tamil Nadu board 12th result 2026 is INR 205 per subject while it is INR 305 for subjects comprising two papers.

  • INR 275 for photocopy

TN 12th result 2026: How to get Scanned copy of answer sheets

To get the scanned copy of answer sheets, students must apply through their respective school or exam centre. They are required to pay INR 275 per paper in cash. They will be able to download the scanned copy of the answer script by entering the registration number and date of birth online.

15 marks in theory exam and a total of 35 marks
No minimum marks for practical but attendance is compulsory

When you have only a few days are left for the exam, do not get tensed. You should focus on the most important topics. Solve as many previous years papers as possible. Take online mock tests to analyze your preparation. Study at least 6-7 hours daily.
