  • There is a flexibility to exit at any level. Depending on the courses completed, the learner can receive Foundational Certificate or Diploma(s) from IIT Madras
  • Candidate has to complete a total of 31 courses in order to attain B.Sc. degree and have to give 10hrs/course/week
  • If completed 8 courses then the learner may exit with a Foundational Certificate from Centre for Continuing Education, IIT Madras or can join the Diploma Level

    I would like to summarise saying everything is valuable. It's really good.
    Learning Experience: The course is really valuable for our career. Lectures are well described. They are really good and well designed.
    Placements: I can't say it's the best as we lack some practical exposure, but I'm pretty sure in future it will shine.
    Faculty: Quality of lectures is really good. Faculty is supportive. Assignments and proper exams are there.
    Course Support: Lectures are provided, live sessions and open sessions are held. We get instant help.

    IIT madras online course .
    Placements: As it was online course we can attend to the placements but the chance of getting high package was less as compared to the offline students. The highest package was 54 LPA in offline course, and the average package was 19 Lacs per annum, as we compared to last year the opportunities for the internships has been increased .
    Infrastructure: We have access to some events we have access to library labs and enter to campus, for some fest they provide us stay and food for events, hostel was good and provided a table cart and chair for each student, the food taste was average and medical facility is provided good, sports facility also good .
    Faculty: Teaching of them was good and they teach in unique style. Teaching mode is online we can clarify everything as it was the better in the online, we have a classes of 10 hours per week as we choose the course before they provide us the intern chances, they gives us ideas about the researches and makes us, semister exams are done manuvaly at the college.

    BS Degree : Value for money , Pros and Cons
    Learning Experience: The course content are provided by NPTEL. The teachers are IITian, very well qualified. The challenges which comes to the way is that, as it is an online degree. It sometimes get boring, so you have to take care of it.
    Placements: You should not depend wholely on the campus placement. You need to search other places as well. Because as it is a new degree, there are fewer companies visiting. But I won't deny, students are getting placed from this degree in a very large amount.
    Faculty: Faculty is good there. English is quite boring, but other subjects are interesting and the lectures are interesting too. The program is very structured with weekly assignments and quizzes.
    Course Support: The support team is very cooperative. We have a whole department for support. The email and contact be it WhatsApp or text messaging system is available 24/7.

    Some information about the BS in Data Science and Application from IIT Madras.
    Placements: The official data on placements is not published by IITM BS. But some sources say that students get internships at big companies and also get a handsome package. Some of the top roles that one can get from a BS in Data Science and Application are data scientist, data analyst, and many more.
    Infrastructure: Since this is a distance/off-campus/online course, you won't get access to campus for regular study, but you can visit the campus with your official ID card. If we talk about the curriculum and academics, then you are going to have an IIT-level quality of education.
    Faculty: All the instructors and professors are well-qualified from the world's top institutes. Most of them are helpful and are free to help students in their academics through their email. In this era of fast-growing technology and data, this course is very relevant. This course will help you be future-ready in the industry.     My college's faculty are very good .
    Placements: Placements official data from the college is pending. However, it's anticipated that companies will visit the campus between May and June 2024, making the first placements of students. On average, salaries are expected to range around 3 LPA, with the possibility of some students securing packages as high as 6 to 7 LPA.
    Infrastructure: I'd rate the infrastructure as average, giving it 3 stars. Due to online learning, hostel facilities are available. However, there is an annual fest where students can gather and enjoy. Hostel accommodation is offered selectively to third-year or B.Sc. level students.
    Faculty: In terms of assessment, the course operates on a term system spanning 4 months each, with 3 terms per year. Some subjects pose challenges for students, and failing a subject requires retaking the entire course in the subsequent term. There are no provisions for supplementary exams as seen in other colleges.
    Other: My college's scholarship is provided according to government rules.

    Just have to take an exam, for they will give you 1 month of content(lectures) to learn from that you have to write an exam and score at least 50 % in that, also there is an eligibility to take an exam which is every week you have to complete an assignment after 4th week your average assignment scor
