Online Foundational Certificate in Programming and Data Science - Batch of 2023

Transformative online learning experience for Data Science enthusiasts.
Placements: I've been a student enrolled in the online Data Science programme for the foundation level and I must say it has been an incredible enriching and transformative experience. The college offers and extensive range of resources and support services to guide students towards successful careers. We are always informed about the jobs and internship opportunities available. The placement team at IIT madras help tailor job searches to match individual skills and preference, making the job hunting process much more efficient and rewarding. Most of the students get placed after the completion of their certification and many of them opted for higher studies in the same field.
Infrastructure: As it is an online course, students from different regions learn from this platform from their houses itself, so there is no accommodation for the learners. The colleges online learning platform is intuitive and easy to navigate. The interface is user-friendly, making it a breeze to access course materials, assignments and discussions. The platform organisation is impeccable, which greatly enhances the overall learning experience.
Faculty: One of the most impressive aspects of my online course has been the quality of the professors. They are not only experts in their respective fields but also passionate about teaching. The instructors are always available for questions and provide timely feedback on assignments. This engagement has made the online learning experience feel just as personal and interactive as in-person classes. The course curriculum is very much relevant and begin teaching from the fundamentals itself. It makes students industry ready. The semester exams on difficult level it is above average and most of the questions are application based.
Other: One might assume that an online college lacks the sense of community found on a physical campus, but the course has an successfully built a vibrant online community. There are discussion boards, forums and group projects that foster collaboration among students. Additional, the college offers various support services, including academic advising and teach support, which have been invaluable throughout my time here. One of the primary reasons I chose online degree was for its flexibility and the college has not disappoint in this aspect. I can study at my own pace and schedule, which has allowed me to balance my education with work and other commitments seamlessly.
