GATE IIT cutoff will be released after the announcement of result. Check GATE Cutoff for IITs for all the MTech admissions.

GATE cutoff for IITs will be announced after the results are released on March 17. The GATE cutoff is the minimum number of points that candidates must obtain in order to be admitted to their preferred course and institute. Candidates seeking admission to MTech courses at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) must take the GATE 2022 exam, which was held on February 5, 6, 12, and 13. The GATE 2022 cutoff for all 27 papers will be released.

The GATE IIT cutoff will be governed by Centralised Counselling for MTech, also known as CCMT. The GATE IIT cutoff will be announced based on the GATE 2022 results.

Factors determining GATE IIT MTech Cut off

The GATE Cutoff for each IIT will differ release its GATE cutoff based on the following factors. Candidates will be able to see the cutoff for all IITs on the official website of CCMT (Centralised Counselling for MTech). Look at the list of factors that will determine the GATE IIT MTech cutoff:

  • Total number of candidates qualified in GATE 2022 exam
  • The difficulty level of the examination i.e. easy/ moderate/ difficult
  • Total number of seats available in a particular course

A. GATE cutoff is the minimum score that candidates need to qualify GATE. It is released by the exam conducting institute with the declaration of result.

Q. What will be the GATE 2022 cutoff/closing rank for admission to MTech in Computer Science at Madras in?

A. As per the previous year, the closing or cutoff rank for MTech in the CS branch at IIT Madras is expected to lie between 780 and 800 for general category candidates.
