Note while COAP is for MTech admission via GATE, CCMT is for admission to MTech programmes offered by NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and CFTIs. State and private universities will conduct their own counselling based on GATE 2025 results, which were announced on March 19 along with the qualifying cutoff marks.

No, there is no interview round for M.Tech admission at IIT Kanpur. Admission offers for GATE-qualified candidates are displayed on the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP). Students must register at the COAP portal to view and accept their offers. Registration on COAP portal is free. Additionally, candidates are advised to download COAP 2022 information brochure. COAP Registration number is mandatory to apply for M.Tech at IIT Kanpur admission portal. Candidates who have not qualified GATE are communicated directly by the department via e-mail.

Factors determining GATE IIT MTech Cut off
The GATE cutoff for each IIT will differ, and all IITs will release their GATE cutoff based on the following factors: Candidates will be able to see the cutoff for all IITs on the official website of CCMT (Centralised Counselling for MTech). IIT Bombay JEE Advanced Cutoff 2024 was released in the form of opening and closing cutoff ranks. Normally, the number of seats is directly proportionate to the Cutoff ranks. Also, it is observed that as the number of applicants increase, the Cutoff rank also increases. IIT Bomby 2024 Cutoff showed that, the number of seats increased in comparison to the last year in a few courses, and increased in a few courses. Yes, GATE score is required to get admission to IIT Bombay course. However, aspirants who have not qualified GATE can also get admission based on written test conducted by the institute. The shortlisted candidates are further called for a personal interview round. In order to be eligible to apply for the course, an aspirant must have a BE/ BTech/ BSc/ Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Planning/ MSc/ MCA/ MBBS/ MPharm/ BPharm/ BDS/ degree recognised equivalent to BE/ BTech with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% aggregate for SC/ ST/ PwD category) earned through Associate Membership Examinations conducted by recognised professional bodies to apply for MTech course.
Along with the application form, certain documents have to be submitted. The aspirants are required to submit scanned copies of below-mentioned documents while filling IIT Delhi application form in online mode:

- First and last pages of Aadhar Card/ Voter ID Card/ Passport
- PAN Card

Candidates who are appearing for the GATE exam must carry a valid ID proof along with a passport-size photograph, transperant water bottle, and pen (blue or black) along with GATE 2026 hall ticket. We advise to carry atleast two to three copies of admit card to the centre.

IIT Bombay CAT cutoff 2024 has been released for admisison to its MBA course. The CAT cutoff 2024 for the students belonging to the General AI category is 90 for MBA programme. The IIT Bombay MBA Cutoff percentile has remained constant for the past three years. Therefore, it is less likely for candidate getting 85 percentile to get admission at IIT Bombar, among the General AI category.
