IIT Bombay admission to all the courses is entrance-based (Except for EMBA, where admission is merit-based and performance in the interview round). Firstly, candidates need to secure a rank in nearly the top 2,00,000 (including all categories) students in JEE Main. Only these students get a chance to sit for JEE Advanced and become eligible for admission to IITs.
