UGC NET exam has two papers that are - Paper 1 & Paper 2. Paper 1 consist common General Aptitude Test, which consists questions based on Reasoning Ability, Comprehension Reading, Mental Ability, and General Awareness etc. Paper 1 contains 50 questions each of 2 marks. Paper 2 consist of 100 MCQs type questions based on subject which you have selected in application form, each of 2 marks. There is no minus marking on any negative answer. Both papers are conducted in single three hours.
