GATE 2026 Cutoff for IISc Bangalore: IISc Bangalore has activated registration link for MTech and research admissions. Candidates with valid GATE 2026/2025/2024 scores can apply. The last date to submit form is March 23. The institute has also released IISc Bangalore MTech 2026 seat matrix for admission through GATE scores. Candidates can check the expected GATE 2026 cutoff for CSE, EC, CE, and other branches here. GATE 2026 result will be announced on March 19, 2026. Candidates can check the IISc Bengaluru GATE cutoff marks for 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, etc.

  GATE Cutoff for IISc Admission

IISc Bangalore has started registration process through GATE 2026 scores. The Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore has also released seat matrix for MTech and research admissions. Candidates with valid GATE 2026/2025/2024 scores can apply. The last date to submit application form is March 23. Candidates can also check interview and written test dates below. IIT Guwahati conducted GATE exam on Feb 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026.

A: 

Based on the past-year's records and experts analysis, it is expected that the average expected cutoff for GATE exam 2026 can fall somewhere between 28 to 37 for general category, 26 to 28.3 marks for OBC-NCL/EWS category, and 27 -31 for SC/ST category. 

The above cutoff mark can vary for each paper, depending on the question paper difficulty level and past cutoff trends.

A: 

The highest GATE cutoff score for NIT M.Tech admission typically ranges from 800 to 850 in the first round. Some of the top NITs include NIT Surathkal, NIT Trichy, and NIT Warangal, accept admissions with GATE score 800 above for branches like EC, CS, ME, and EE.

A: 

The cutoff score in GATE is the minimum mark required to qualify for the exam. The conducting body releases the qualifying cutoff along with result. It determines, whether a candidate is eligible to participate in the counselling round or not. 

The cutoff score in GATE varies every year (category-wise), depending on the number of students registered, difficulty level of the question paper, and previous year's trends. The GATE cutoff score are mainly of two types - admission and qualifying cutoff.

Q:   When will IIT Guwahati release GATE 2026 cutoff?
A: 

Indian Institute of Technology will release GATE cutoff 2026 along with result. The IITG GATE 2026 result date is March 19. The conducting body will declare the exam result and cutoff for all 30 subjects. The cutoff for GATE 2026 will be available category-wise. Candidates securing the minimum cutoff will be eligible to participate in counselling. 

Note: The minimum qualifying cutoff will be different for all subjects.

In GATE, normalisation process generally makes a gap of 4 to 7 marks (approximately) between actual and normalised scores. However, if difficulty level of paper was high then the marks might increase. On other hand, for easier paper, marks may reduce offering fairness across sessions.
