GATE Cutoff for PSU Recruitment: Check the GATE cutoff for PSU recruitment here. GATE previous years' IOCL, NTPC, PGCIL, BPCL, HPCL, ONGC, BHEL, SAIL, GAIL, etc. cutoff is available below.
GATE Cutoff for PSU: In India, many Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) companies consider GATE scores for recruitment. Candidates who want to appear in the PSU interview have to get marks above the GATE score for PSU . Apart from this, GATE-qualified candidates can also apply for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). Candidates can check the GATE PSU Cutoff and the previous years below. IIT Guwahati will announce GATE results on March 19.
GATE 2026 was conducted by IIT Guwahati. Candidates whp appeared for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering had to download GATE admit card using their enrollment ID and password. Quaalified candidates can apply for MTech admissions or PSU jobs.
It must be noted that, the GATE PSU cutoff for the different streams will be different. GATE (ME, EE, CE, CS, IT, Instrumentation, etc.) cutoff for PSU also varies from category to category. Without qualifying the GATE 2025 PSU Cutoff, no candidate can proceed to the interview round. However, it is important to have an idea of the GATE PSU previous year cutoff to target a score in the GATE.

All PSUs set the GATE cutoff as per the number of vacant positions. Candidates who meet the GATE PSU cutoff marks will get a call to participate in the recruitment process. Check the IOCL cutoff, ONGC cutoff, NTPC cutoff, PGCIL cutoff, HPCL cutoff, and BPCL cutoff through GATE and more on this page. PSU GATE cutoff 2025 will be updated once the companies release it. The cutoff is the minimum mark that is required for all candidates to qualify for the exam. IIT Guwahati announced GATE result 2026 on March 19.
Indian Institute of Technology will release GATE cutoff 2026 soon. The IITG GATE 2026 result has been declared. The conducting body releases the exam result and cutoff for all 30 subjects. The cutoff for GATE 2026 will be available category-wise. Candidates securing the minimum cutoff will be eligible to participate in counselling.
Note: The minimum qualifying cutoff will be different for all subjects.

- Maximum GATE score - 741
A GATE score of 550 in mechanical engineering will fetch you a rank range of 1500 - 3000. Students with this GATE score range can opt for M.Tech at NIT Calicut, NIT Trichy, etc.
