It is one of the best colleges in all aspects.
Placements: The placements cell will provide students with internships from the starting of the final year. But not very many students will get that. There are very few placements for B.Sc. courses. They provide students with some internships, and some research jobs but nobody gets one. But students will get the internships if they are active and is in contact with the placements coordinator. Most of the students go for the masters so they do not work much on providing jobs and placements.
Infrastructure: The classes are functional and good, although not the best that this university can do, while several infrastructural renovations are going on timely. There can still be many non-functional classes. Wi-Fi is available in all classes provided that students have registered for JMI Wi-Fi and libraries are great in engineering and central laboratories are decent.
Faculty: Teachers are extremely helpful and very qualified in their jobs, although there are a few teachers who continue to teach on request even after they retired since there are no faculty members available. The knowledge is not that relevant in today's world, but it is necessary to know. Teaching quality is like a 5 out of 10, and it does make the students industry-ready.
Other: I opted for this course, because I wanted to do engineering. It has better teachers who know how to communicate well, and events and fests are like a daily thing in JMI. Everything is good in this college.
