Overall, I am satisfied with the college but not with the placements.
Placements: Around 25% of students get placed. The highest package was around 6 LPA from TCS, and a few more companies visit. There is no internship program available. In coaching institutes, students get placed as mentors and teachers, while others are hired as coders and teachers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average, but it is not bad. The classrooms are average, and wifi connectivity is good. The labs are very average, and there is only one lab available; sometimes the computers are not working properly. The hostel is good, and medical facilities are also available. There is a separate facility for sports.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and most of the faculty members have done their PhDs. The teaching quality is average. The course curriculum is not very relevant and does not adequately prepare us for the industry. Semester exams are not very tough, but it is hard to score a high CGPA.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to pursue my master's degree. The best thing about the course is that it teaches not only mathematics but also computer science. One improvement the department could make is to provide more labs and make us more industry-ready by assigning small projects and working on real-life scenarios. Events and fests are very frequent, and the connectivity around the campus is good; we have metro services and e-rickshaws available all the time. Scholarships are also available for students.

Good crowd in a top-ranked university, Jamia Millia Islamia.
Placements: In my branch (E&C) this time, i.e., 2024, the placement percentage was the worst it can be because of the recession. Before 2024, the placement percentage was decent, with 70-90% placed every year. The highest package was 21 LPA in 2023, and the lowest was 3.5 LPA. The average package is around 7-9 LPA depending on the year. The recruiting companies are C.dot, TCS, Wipro, and many core companies. In my course, since it's compulsory to do an internship in the 3rd year, everyone is doing it right now. The most commonly offered roles in my course are SDE 1, Research Engineer, or Product Manager.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty decent, including AC classrooms; however, the ACs in some classrooms do not work efficiently. There are some labs where the equipment is either very old or does not work properly, e.g., EDC lab. Here, only one setup works properly; the rest all have some issues, either with the digital meter or any wires.
Faculty: The faculty of Engineering and Technology includes some top-ranked professors, like Ahtesham Sir and Javed Sir, both of whom are in the top 2% of scientists from Stanford. The faculty are very helpful, but the office staff is not. The sessionals (mid-sem) are quite easy; you only have to read from professors' notes and maintain attendance. In the end semester exam, you have to focus on your studies to excel and get good marks because the end semester exam is quite tough relatively.

This is the amazing life of Jamia; my course is average, but other courses are amazing.
Placements: In Jamia Millia Islamia, there are many courses, and most of them provide campus selection or a good amount of placement. But in my B.A. Hons Korean language, there are many opportunities, but there is no campus selection; you have to get your job by yourself.
Infrastructure: My course is very good, but in Jamia, my course is not good enough. You can pursue it from JNU; it will be better. My course fee is 15k, and hostel fee is 38k per year. In the hostel, Wi-Fi and cold water, reading hall, all necessary things are provided. The hostel is good. Every hostel has its own reading hall and common room. On campus, there are lots of facilities like Wi-Fi, water, etc. There is one big library and one big reading hall on campus, which is very beneficial to the students.
Faculty: Teachers are good but not responsible for any low students in the batch. They will not guide you according to your level of knowledge. In our course, there is reading, writing, speaking, and Korean history taught to us. Semester exams are really difficult; if you do not focus on study, you can't pass the semester.
Other: This time, my course provides early and good income sources. After graduation, you can take a job for a good amount of money if you are interested in the corporate sector. Our management should improve, and more classes should be provided. Our campus is vast and beautiful. Campus life is amazing. You can't forget once you visit here.

Overall, the college is good.
Placements: 65-70% students were placed. The highest package was around 14 LPA from companies like JIT Japan, Accenture, Deloitte, Siemens, Schneider, TCS, L&T, Bechtel, HSBC, and Zomato. About 30% to 40% of students get internships. Many more offers were given for positions such as SWE, SDE, GET, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Testing Engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Labs are not up to mark. Classes are decent. The library is good, but it is not open 24 hours. Hostel facilities are good, and food is also good. Medical facility is good; there's a hospital in which free treatment is available. Sports facility is good; there is a sports complex.
Faculty: Teachers are good; they are qualified and very knowledgeable. Almost all the faculties are PhD holders and did good research work. The course is relevant to the industry, but more focus is on theory and not much is given on practical knowledge. Semester exams are not much tough. Almost 90% of students pass the exam.
Other: It was cheap, and ROI was best. More events could be organized.

Newcomers should definitely join, especially financially weak students.
Placements: Approximately 70% of students are placed every year, with the highest package being 25 LPA for the 2023 batch and the lowest package at 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Flipkart, Algosec, Accenture, and JIT Japan. Very few internships are provided due to a lack of NOC. Roles offered include SWE1, SDE1, GET, Data Analyst, Game Developer, and Web Developer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite old, and AC is not available in every department. The civil and computer departments have AC, while the rest of the departments do not. Wi-Fi is provided in every corner of the campus, and the B.Tech program has its own separate library. Classrooms are spacious.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, and almost every teacher is involved in research with PhD students. Due to the implementation of NEP 2020, the syllabus is quite relevant to the job market. Semester exams are not that difficult, and since the teachers are helpful, you can solve your doubts and be prepared for the exams.
Other: I have chosen computer engineering at Jamia Islamia. The best thing about my course is that it is quite pocket-friendly and offers a high rate of return (ROR). More societies should be formed to improve the creative thinking of students and to enhance their social interaction. More scholarships should be provided at the university level for students coming from backward classes and financially weak backgrounds.
