Jamia Millia Islamia review

Faculty: The teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of our faculty members was good. The course curriculum was relevant, and students gained deep knowledge about their subject. The semester examination was a little tough. Almost 90–95 percent of students passed.

It offers what a tier-3 college can provide and is good in terms of ROI.

Faculty: Most of professors are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is revised and updated, but the B-school environment is lacking. The atmosphere is not as competitive as that of a B-school. Semester exams are not very difficult, with easy questions, some practical questions, and case studies included. The pass percentage is 40%.

Best college for mass communication.

Faculty: Professors of our course were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach unbiased journalism and are free to speak without any fear. The course curriculum was relevant. Students were working in Big Media House, like Aaj Tak. The semester examination was a little tough.

It's a beautiful campus and a well-reputed university, and the teaching staff is great.

Faculty: Faculty teach us each and every concept, engage us, and classes are very interactive. And reading books like the original is one thing, they prefer us to read originals.

An Engineering student perspective about JMI.

Faculty: Teachers in JMI are well-qualified and experienced in the research sector. Course curriculum is less relevant as the latest topics are not included in the curriculum. Some changes are introduced but still, some more changes can be done. Semester exams are not that hard. Pass percentage is 40%.

Satisfied with the quality of the course.

Faculty: Faculty members are very polite and helpful. If you need any help, you can ask in the classroom or personally. They are very knowledgeable. Before joining here, they did a doctorate in foreign countries. The M.Sc. Virology course syllabus is the best, it includes every topic needed for current research and also history. If you focus on the lecture and read at home, you can easily score well in exams. In this course, you have to give two sessional exams, each worth 20 marks, and a final exam of 6...

JMI: A central university in New Delhi.

Faculty: Teachers are actually helpful. A few teachers are quite strict, but they help you pass exams. Marking is normal, not that strict. The course curriculum is 50% relevant. Labs make it relevant. They make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not very tough. If you keep studying and keep track of what's going on in class, along with proper assignments, you will come up with a good CGPA, and the passing criteria varies from subject to subject 33% to 40%.

Very good faculty and very nice experience.

Faculty: The Electrical Engineering department has very good and experienced professors. Our branch is self-financed, so the study covers both electrical core and software, benefiting from both the Computer and Electrical departments. Around 70% of students pass the exams because the exams are not very hard. There is one end semester and two midterm exams.

Good faculty, but 2024 was not a good year for engineering.

Faculty: Electrical Engineering has very experienced and knowledgeable professors. One professor, Ahteshamul Haq, is named among the top 2% of scientists in the world, and others are also very experienced. They help us anytime we need. The department conducts two session tests and one end-of-semester exam. Exams are easy.

Overall, everything is okay.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and more educated from outside of India. They are qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. It depends on your semester exam, how much hard work you put into the semester exam. Internal exams are difficult. Pass percentage SCGPA is 4.5.

Dissatisfied with placement but very good faculty.

Faculty: The civil engineering department has the most senior professors, and they are very knowledgeable and experienced faculty. They are strict teachers, but they help students with academic studies, and the difficulty level of exams is very low, allowing around 80% of students to pass.

2022 is the best year for electrical engineering.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach us very well. However, some teachers are lazy and don't teach us with their hearts. In the engineering departments, all 5 departments take 2 sessional tests and 1 end-of-semester exam. We can easily pass the exams by studying before them, and approximately 70 students pass their exams.

Development extension - Professional course.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and knowledgeable. Teachers taught very well according to the curriculum. The course curriculum was good but not so good. Somehow, students face difficulties in getting placed and being industry-ready. The semester exams were easy, and mostly every student pass the exams. Faculty members were good. Some teachers taught very well, and some were average.

Before taking Admission in JMI s B.Tech course, go through this review.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, most are PhDs, and even some are IIT students. One of the teachers has been the NITs dean. The course is also relevant, workshops and labs are truly making students industry ready. I have not given any exams yet, but heard from seniors that exams are also tactically good for students growth.
