With 95 percentile in JEE Main, the chances of getting admission in NIT Karnataka are fairly high for BTech. However, whether it is enough or not can be determined after the cutoff announcement. The cutoff varies every admission year as it depends upon various factors such as the number of applicants, exam score of the applicants, cutoff, etc. Students can check BTech Civil Engineering trend from below:
The cutoff trend for BTech at NIT Surathkal has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 25078. In 2023, it decreased to 23632. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 34699 to 8409 for OBC, 76541 to 4193 for SC, 789 to 1001 for ST, 32563 to 3735 for EWS, and 460 to 634 for PWD.
This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.
JEE Main Round 6, has been released for admission to the BTech courses. As per MNNIT Allahabad JEE Main cutoff 2023, the Round 6 closing rank was 4777 for General category candidates in All India quota for Computer Science Engineering. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 9937 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

Admissions to NIT (National Institute of Technology), Trichy is Entrance Based for almost all of the courses. The college accepts different exam scores for different levels of courses. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains is necessary for admissions to the undergraduate engineering programs, B.Tech which offers 8 courses and B.Arch which offers 1 course.
