NIT kurukshetra, prospering in the land of git.
Placements: There were a great number of recruiters that had come and were very generous in recruiting. They were willing to recruit the most able candidates, and if they saw potential in the student, they were giving appropriate chances. Microsoft, Jio, Bajaj, etc., were among them.
Infrastructure: Infra is a bit old but there are good enough facilities for everyone to use and is able to provide the satisfaction required. The sports facilities are amazing, and there are no shortcomings whatsoever. The lab equipment is top-notch and provides students an amazing chance at learning the subject with practical knowledge.
Faculty: Exams are tough, but the professors are very helpful and will definitely help in studying and passing exams. Attendance criteria are still in place, so you need to attend max classes. There are frequent exams like mid-sem 1,2 and then the end semesters. But all it does is give students endless opportunities to thrive and learn.
Other: Amazing co-curriculars, amazing people, amazing fest.

It's amazing you should take admission.
Placements: Unlike other years due to covid placement scenario was quite different. Average package and percentage are little bit reduced about 70 percent of the student got placed. Placement in our college are pretty decent but branches like electrical and other lower branches it is not upto mark. Top recruiting companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Airtel, Hero, etc. Many student got internship SAT CBRI, NHAI and BTES.
Infrastructure: College has all b necessary infrastructure facilities classroom AC and very well maintained, ventilated laboratories are having equipments needed and sports club are really nice living space is clean and food is hygienic. Mess worker are supportive. Medical facilities are also well and good.
Faculty: The updated curriculum is very nice. There are 6 departmental subjects in first year of computer Engineering. Most of the college teaches data structures in 2nd year but in NIT Kurukshetra you will learn data structure in first year. Quality of teaching isn't amazing. The teachers are quite casual and based. I mean, it is the same for almost all Indian colleges but still. Students cover the syllabus themselves.
Other: Campus life was great only because of friends I had. We had BMS (a lake) nearby where we could walk every weekend. It is a village so we didn't expect much for the start. The fee depend upon the different factors like Category, economic conditions of our family but I would say these government colleges have very less fee as compared to private colleges.

Partially satisfied by faculty.
Placements: About 60%of eligible students are placed. The highest package was around 15lakh, the lowest was 5 Lacs and average was 6 Lacs. Reliance industries, Land, etc. Are top recruiting companies. About 90-95 % students got internship in these company. Do not have idea about it.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure provided is good like taking example of Wi-Fi, as it helps us in solving many of doubt about the subject and career also. Labs are good enough to gain hand on experience. Classroom and library are provided with all kinds of facilities that a student needs to excel in studies. Quality of food varies from hostel to hostel, as in case of mine the food is good enough to eat. Medical facilities and sports and games facilities in common room are good.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable that is why they are here. The teaching quality is good enough to make a person realize the concept if he really wants to. The course is curriculum relevant. In case of making student industry ready, I thinks that there is lot more to improve. Semester exams are not that difficult, if a student only put serious efforts in class then he can still attain good percentage. Pass percentage in my class was about 80.

Good campus with decent placement- NIT Kurukshetra.
Placements: The placement rate in my branch is approximately 80%, with the highest package being 70 lpa and the average package being 4 lpa. The college attracts a wide range of companies, including Microsoft. While most students secure internships, only a few are paid. The majority of students tend to lean towards roles in software development or data analytics.
Infrastructure: The college is fully green. There are 11 boys hostels and 5 girls hostels. Wi-Fi and LAN are available in all hostels. Also, the classes have both a green board and a digital board with Wi-Fi all over campus. The food quality is average. There is a night canteen on campus and a maggi hotspot, which opened at 3 a.m. There is a health centre where there are no charges. Nearly all sports courts are on campus, including badminton courts.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified. All of them have done research in their respective fields and have a Ph.D. degree. The curriculum is changing every year to make students industry-ready. There are two midterm exams and an end-of-semester exam in each semester. Around 95% of students passed.
Other: The reason behind my selection of this course is because it aligns with my interests and abilities. Moreover, it offers excellent preparation for IES and UPSC exams. The college organizes numerous events, with Teach fest and Confluence being the most prominent ones.

Curriculum is not that good. Placements are fine.
Placements: Placements are average here. Internship scenerio is not good as heard from seniors. Last year from our branch 89% of students got place. Median package was 8 LPA And average package was also around 8 LPA, and the highest package was 16 LPA. I don't know about the job roles but every student has two options weather he want to pursue career in core field or non core field.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is decent. Classrooms are equipped with AC's and the best part is the campus is lush green. Wi-Fi is also fine, every room has wlan ports for using Wi-Fi in hostel. Labs are also good and well maintained Library is also very good and has a very good collection of books and journals. Hostels are average mess food is also fine. I never experienced canteen food yet, although there are canteens in a good number. Medical facilities is fine but not upto mark. Sports facilities is pretty good it is compulsory to join atleast one activity with sports section alongwith academic curriculum. With mess there is a common room where one can watch TV's and play indoor games like Table tennis, carrom etc.
Faculty: Teaching quality is fine. Varies from teacher to teacher but you will find very less teachers who teaches passionate. Most of the teachers just aim to finish the syllabus timely. Since it is my first semester I cannot comment on the course content. Semester exams are not that hard but one have to study for them dedicated. Passing percentage is 40% including internal exams and assessment.
Other: I had two options weather to choose civil or production at this college. But was inclined towards startup so I chosen production. I want the concerned authorities to remove useless and old subjects which are not relevant and time consuming and add on the subjects like AI and ML which are highly useful in current time in very field. Major events are confluence, techspardha, E-summit etc. I don't have good idea about them as it is my first year. Airport is pretty far from here only railway station and bus stand is near. Since kurukshetra is a holy city, it has surrounding of devotional places like brahmsarovar, devikoop bhadrakali shaktipeeth etc. There are a good no. Good no. Of scholarships to apply if you are eligible. I haven't experienced extracurricular activities yet.
