- The JOSAA 2026 counselling process has concluded for the BE/BTech course with the release of Round 5 seat allotment results.
- The CSAB Counselling 2026 special round 2 has now concluded.
- The JEE Main 2027 session 1 exam dates are out on the official website for the NIT Durgapur B.E. / B.Tech admission. The exam will be held on Jan 22,2027 to Jan 24,2027 and Jan 28, 2027 to Jan 30, 2027 respectively.

NIT Durgapur BTech admission process includes multiple stages. The admission depends on JEE (Main) ranks, followed by the JoSAA/CSAB counselling. Students who meet the basic eligibility requirements for NIT Durgapur admissions can follow the short guide below:
1. Application Process
The admission process starts with the JEE (Main) application process. Students must open the NTA portal to fill out the online application form and upload the required documents. They must also submit the JEE (Main) fee applicable to them. The application fee varies for candidates belonging to different reservation categories.
2. Selection & Counselling
After appearing for the entrance exam, Students must register for the JoSAA counselling. Candidates who clear the required JEE (Main) cut-off are allotted seats through multiple rounds of the counselling process. Shortlisted candidates can proceed to the final stage of the admission process.
3. Admission & Fee Payment
