Delhi Technological University BTech course is a four-year course offered in full-time mode. BTech at Delhi Technological University is offered in several specialisations such as BTech in CSE, ECE, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Biotechnology, Environmental Engineering and more.

DTU BTech Admission Dates 2026
The DTU BTech admission dates are in line with the JEE Mains exam and the JAC counseling. The JEE Mains entrance exam is conducted between the months of November and January for the first session and February and April for the second session.

Delhi Technological University offers a four-year BTech programme across 14 specialisations along with two BTech Evening programmes to the students. The duration of the BTech evening programme is also four years. The specialisations available under the regular BTech course includes CSE, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Engineering Physics, Mathematics and Computing specialisations, among others. Additionally, the specialisations available under BTech (Evening) course include Civil and Electrical Engineering. Students seeking admission must have a valid score in the JEE Main entrance exam. However, the final admission process is conducted via Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) Delhi. Usually, the cutoff for DTU stays around 90, even for the reserved categories. Therefore, getting into B.Tech courses at DTU is difficult with a JEE Main percentile score of 90 or below. The cutoff also goes high and low every year, depending on the following factors:

DTU and IIT delhi are both topmost universities available in India. The placements given to these university students are also good. The infra is quite good for both the universities, hence the comparison between them is not possible. In the end, it depends on students what is best for them.
