Review of DTU - Delhi Technological University.
Placements: Placement is okay in this college; in my branch, placement is 90%, and the highest package is 62.1 LPA. This branch is very easy, and the course curriculum is also quite easy. The software engineering department is well-furnished and well-managed.
Infrastructure: The first-year hostel and mess are not very good. The DTU department, the BR auditorium, and the Raj Soin Hall are the most beautiful places of DTU and are very well maintained. The facilities for good students are vast, but the kabaddi pitch is not well managed. Otherwise, all things are good and okay.
Faculty: The faculty at DTU is very good and caring, but the electrical department faculty can be quite strict. Academic life at DTU is not very hard, and the labs at DTU are also very good and properly managed. The semester exams are comparable to the end-of-semester exams.
Other: I chose this course because I have always been interested in understanding how technology works and how it can be used to solve real-life problems. This branch offers the perfect blend of theoretical learning and practical exposure. Another reason was the strong career opportunities in this field. The curriculum aligns well with industry requirements, making it easier to build a professional path after graduation.

The college is the best in my opinion, placing over 1800 students in 2024-25 at average of 15 LPA.
Placements: I am a fresher, and my branch has just been introduced in this academic year. The placements are ongoing for the 2022-26 batch, with around 700 students placed at an average package of 20 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Apple, Amazon, NVIDIA, Salesforce, and Google.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are Wi-Fi enabled, and there are top-notch computer systems in the lab, including i7 and i9 generation computers. The mess and hostel are provided to students together. The hygiene in the mess is overall good, and Wi-Fi is provided in the hostels. The best spot on the campus is the library. It is extraordinarily big and contains over 10,000 books.
Faculty: Teachers are really well qualified. They have degrees from IITs and NITs. The course curriculum is updated with new branches being introduced to keep up with the latest technology. The semester exams are moderate to tough, but students generally prepare well; however, it's tough to get a good CGPA here.
Other: My course is CSDA (Computer Science with Specialisation in Data Science and Analytics). It’s an emerging branch, and its curriculum is really up to date. A few things could be improved by introducing AI research labs in colleges themselves, which would offer flexibility to students in learning. Fests are organized regularly, and DTU ENGIFEST is considered the best in all of North India, overpowering Rendezvous.

DTU is great. We get extensions, and it is not as strict compared to NSUT.
Placements: 45 percent of students get placed. The highest package students receive is 45-50 LPA, and the lowest is 4-5 LPA. Great companies come during the placement season, like Amazon, Flipkart, and Uniqlo. The minimum company students get placed in is TCS.
Infrastructure: I don't have an idea about hostels as I am a day scholar. We get open Wi-Fi, which gets disconnected in a few places in college. Classrooms are well furnished. The mess food is alright. In the canteen, we have outlets that provide a variety and good quality of food.
Faculty: Faculty members and teachers are great in our college. They are really helpful. A few are always absent in college, but I think they do know their subjects. Furthermore, it all depends on the enthusiasm they have to teach. Sometimes we get teachers who are not very enthusiastic. Sometimes they act as if no one can teach better than them.
Other: Well, NEET is difficult, so I have to chose JEE in the Science stream. About my course, it is great to get practical knowledge by doing it ourselves rather than the teacher doing it, so the instruments are safe. As for events, I don’t have to say, we have awards outside.

Satisfied and happy with the college. Really like this place.
Placements: About 50 percent of students got placed this year in CSE. The highest package is about 100 LPA, maybe. The lowest is around 6 LPA, and the average is around 16-20 LPA. Google recruits a lot from DTU. About 30-40 percent of students get internships. Most students get programming jobs.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good enough. Sometimes, dogs walk in classes. Labs are also fine. The library is really nice. Food is spoiled sometimes, but that happens rarely. Mess hygiene is alright. Medical facilities are available, but medicine is almost never available. There are enough fests for sports.
Faculty: The teachers are mostly really good. The course curriculum is also relevant, and it prepares students well for the industry. The exams are not too hard, and one can at least pass them if they try a little bit. The pass percentage is around 30 percent, I guess.
Other: I like coding. I also had a deep interest in mathematics since I was a kid, and even engineering graphics is fun. I would say the 75 percent attendance criteria could be a bit relaxed. I have no complaints about the fests or the extracurricular activities.

My review, I believe, is mid, not too good, not too bad.
Placements: Civil, as considered a dying branch, isn't opted for by many as the course that they would like to do. 43 percent of students got placed. The highest package is around 16 LPA, and students get placed in Metro, Ambuja, etc. Many try to explore fields that are not related to civil. So internships are fewer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is like any other college. The hostel mess is at times seen as an unhygienic place to eat, but overall, it is good enough for one to survive. Though the infrastructure of the course is smartly designed so as to fulfill the requirements that one may have to become a master of their respective course.
Faculty: Faculty and curriculum are top-notch, designed in a way that is going to help students learn better in their respective courses and the field that they want to pursue. Although I do feel that the 75 percent attendance criteria should be relaxed a little in order to give students more time to explore other curricular activities that they find interesting. Else exams are taken in a very smooth manner.
Other: It is a government college, so the value for money is there, but the crowd isn't so appealing due to reservations, which brings, apart from sharp-minded students, people who have no interest in academics or career.

Good placements, good infrastructure, medium mess food, and good faculty.
Placements: Very good placements, if not on campus, then off-campus placement confirmed. Every branch has a variety of placements, but if we see the overall placement, it is very good here. The average package is around 15 LPA for all branches. If a student works hard enough, they can easily secure 30 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, every subject labs, a good quality library, good buildings, a beautiful park, and hostel's quality can be slightly better, but overall good facilities, would recommend to any student who gets admission here, sports are also very good here, you can play any sports you wish to play here.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and also very educated. They help us a lot during exam prep, they give us assignments, and they also give us books to study for exams. They are always on time. If all students are present, then the teacher is also there to teach them.
