    Review of Jadavpur University - JU.
    Placements: The university provides placement opportunities, and you have to grab it. But one thing is sure, that quality will not be compromised. Reputed companies like Microsoft, Oracle, and Synopsis visit the campus to conduct placement drives. Students with a good basic understanding of their respective subject will have no problem to get placed. Infosys and TCS visited to recruit students in mass. Many other small and large-scale companies which are not related to our domain though also visit for placements. Good knowledge is the utmost important thing. One of our classmates got placed in HSBC Bank as an analyst. So, there are huge opportunities without any doubt. As a student, it will be better the one if core companies recruit more students.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good compared to its counterparts (exception IIT Kharagpur) in our state. Many research labs are available. Some technologies and machines should be renovated. Fabrication lab is good. I would rate the infrastructure 8 out of 10.
    Faculty: Faculty members are the most efficient in their respective domains. They are very good as guides. The course curriculum covers all the basic needs of our generation of electronics. Faculty members try to cover all the important topics in the syllabus in a speculated period.
    Other: Jadavpur has good atmosphere. It has its own culture. Canteens, roadside tea stall, and other facilities are available. Lectures regarding social issues are held every day which help students to be developed as a social being. These 1 or 2 hours convince them that career is not everything to live for and life is beyond that.
