Good infrastructure and education at reasonable cost. Teachers and seniors are very helpful.

Faculty: Teachers and seniors were always helpful. I studed my first semester without purchasing any books. I just borrowed books from the library, and seniors provided a drive link with important questions with solutions. The curriculum was relevant according to West Bengal engineering syllabus. The semester exam was easy most questions came from PYQs, and 40 percent was the pass percentage. If you failed any subject you can give supplementary exam to pass that subject. Teaching quality was very good. S...

Absolutely satisfied with the placement. Really good infrastructure.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. They would help you in cracking the GATE exam if you ask them to teach for the GATE exam. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes the student industry-ready. Semester exams are too easy. Pass percentage would be around 95 percent.

Excellent academic and corporate grooming.

Faculty: The faculty at JD Birla is quite good. The teachers here are highly qualified and have quite a lot of experience in teaching. The college follows the New Education Policy (NEP). It includes subjects like digital marketing, Excel, and business analytics. While in practical exposure, students have a 6-week internship, soft skills sessions, and field visits, making them industry-ready. The exams are moderate the papers are set by Jadavpur University and are evaluated by them. The pass percentage is...

Academically enriching with excellent research culture and strong faculty reputation.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, very qualified, and knowledgeable. In fact, top lecturers, top writers, and professors like Ranabir Chakraborty and others often take classes. Teaching quality is fantastic. Yes, 90% of people pass, but exams are not too difficult if you understand the classes.

The Metallurgy side of Jadavpur University.

Faculty: All the teachers of the campus and especially my department are highly educated from top institutes of India and humanity can be expected from every one of them. The course curriculum is relevant and it gets updated every academic year according to world affairs. The semester exams are like a festival for me. I enjoy it very much. The pass percentage is above 85 percent.

Excellent college to experience true liberal college life along with proper academic progress.

Faculty: Course curriculum could be more relevant to modern times. Teachers and professors are good and helpful, but there is a lack of qualified professors. Faculty is decent. The pass percentage is 40 percent, and semester exams are fairly tough as per the studies. Attendance in classes is necessary, otherwise, examinations will be tough.

It is good for academics and research.

Faculty: Teachers are excellent, well-experienced, and qualified. Some of them are passouts from Cambridge. The course curriculum is the most radical in the entire country, and it prepares us for a research-based future. Semester exams are usually pretty hard, but we can score good grades if we study the course material. A lot of self-study is involved.

Placements are very strong in engineering.

Faculty: Teachers are extremely knowledgeable. Their way of teaching is best, according to me. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Exams are difficult. If we study and learn what teachers tell us, then they are alright. The pass percentage is 100%.

I had a 5-star experience at the cheapest college in India, Jadavpur University, for Civil Engineeri

Faculty: Professors expect results from students like an IIT student. They set the paper too hard, like the GATE exam, and that's why in the civil branch, a significant number of students had paper back in most subjects. All teachers are from IITs. The pass percentage in a semester is around 60 percent. Both theory and practical subjects make students industry-ready, such as transportation engineering, surveying, etc. Except that we can come to this university through the WBJEE exam. It has a green campus and open minds. Review of life at Jadavpur University.

Faculty: JU has some of the most cited researchers in India. In the Physics department, we will find professors who are collaborative with CERN, Fermilab, and top global institutes. Exams are comparatively tough. Getting more than 8.5 CGPA in JU is significantly harder than getting 9.5 in a private university. Questions are conceptual and not memory-based. We must possess a strong academic background.

It has low fees with an incredible placement record.

Faculty: We have to give two class tests per subject in one semester and a final semester paper, which tells how the competitive structure of the exam is held here. All professors are very good and friendly. Our university makes the question paper. There are many research opportunities for students.

The college has very good placement on campus and also off-campus.

Faculty: Students do industry training. Being a Tier 1 college, the question papers are a little hard. The pass percentage is 80-90%. Teachers are very helpful and also friendly. A student should take admission to the B Pharmacy at Jadavpur University through WBJEE.

Jadavpur University has a legacy of more than a century.

Faculty: Faculty members are a mixed bag. Some are fantastic, some are okay, and some are not very good. They are all highly qualified in their fields, with degrees from IITs, foreign universities, and most are Ph.D. holders with published research work. The course curriculum is almost as good as that of the older IITs, and I can vouch for that. You will gain the required knowledge and industry exposure when you actually work in the field. Semester exams can be rated as moderately difficult to difficult ...
