It is one of the best institutes for engineering courses. The standard is on par with some IITs.

Placements: The college offers placements mainly for undergraduate students. Very few core companies are interested in postgraduate courses. But for M.Tech students, multiple IT companies conduct placement drives. The average salary package offered is around 5 LPA. Few PSUs also visit the campus for placements.

Infrastructure: It is not a fully residential campus, so some students stay in nearby places. All faculty members have their own labs, but characterisation instruments are not available. However, there are CSIR labs near the campus.

Faculty: Being the first institute to offer chemical engineering course in India, Jadavpur University takes great care about its standard. Detailed and individual care is offered here. All faculty members are extremely helpful and experienced. Faculty members also have a worldwide reputation which helps students to get internships in good companies. Publications are also encouraged here.

Other: Other than engineering, there are also science and arts departments. The campus crowd is excellent.

Proper review of the college .

Placements: Jadavpur University is the best university in Kolkata. I am currently in USA. Placed by the university. Thanks to them. It has around 95% placement rate with the highest package of 1.5 crores and the lowest to.2 crores. Top recruiting company is Tata. Thank you .

Infrastructure: It has one of the best hostels. The seniors help instead of ragging. The food quality is also good. The infrastructure is also quite developed. It has one of the best hostels. Faculty: The teachers helped me throughout my university career. They are very helpful. This makes the curriculum relevant and makes the students industry ready. Review about Jadavpur University.

Placements: The placement scenario at JU was quite good. Departments like CSE and ECE record 100% placements. Placements in chemical engineering were also quite good. Apart from these, students scored good marks in GATE, CAT and GRE. Students went for higher educations at various reputed institutions.

Infrastructure: There are separate hostels for girls and boys with very minimal hostel fee. There are PGs and messes available outside the college, and there are about five canteens with a diversified menu in college. A central library is present as well as the department library where there are all books.

Faculty: The faculty at JU was quite qualified. All the professors had a PhD from various reputed institutions. Most of the professors were quite interactive and tried to clear all the doubts within the class. The standard of teaching was quite high, as the professors were very experienced.
